religion should be tossed out the window altogether, and any religious person should be sent to the moon.

Yes, its is because of the traditions. During a marriage Christians worship the Hindu god Ganesha in the southern part of India especially in Kerala. This is because they're converted Christians and their ancestors were Hindu.

It is actually.
Issues have been growing due to the newer evangelical brand of Christians who actually provoke a more aggressive type of proselytism.

The Pew Fondation made a worldwide survey in 2005... and Christians are very favorably perceived by Hindus... Christians than come from the more traditional Catholics and protestant churches established in India for hundreds of years have had overall excellent relations with Hindus and vice verse... Efforts of dialogEUnd neighboly respect has alway been positive.

The issues are provoked by aggressive anti Hindu Evangelicals from the USA and Australia mainly. Actually, traditional Christians agree with the Hindus about their methods of pushing and shoving their way.
