if a married Hindu couple don't want kids then do they still have sex anyway ? I know hare Krishna's don't believe in having sex unless they are trying to have kids . Hindu religion is the same ? I think they both use the behaved git.
Hindu couples have sex for AND not for producing kids.
Hare Krishnas are a Hindu cult (they belong to Hindu philosophies and traditional roots) - they're way too spiritual & I wouldn't be much surprised if the hardcore followers of theirs won't have sex until it's for producing kids.
Both use Bhagwad Gita, yes.
And did you check my comment on my answer that you selected as worst...I mean best?
hammy...maybe...if we married we can do what wife and husband may do...yap gadgets..but still a lot of it...there is Upanishads, reg Veda, Samar veda, yayur veda, atharva veda, purana, ithiasa...a lot of it...I trying to learn and practice upa and bhagawadgita....hindus flexible btw...sorry for bad language..
In Hinduism sexual intercourse main purpose is not to produce children but to increase the love between lovers and to have them show their love for one another on the plain of erotic sensation. Sexual intercourse is also said to be capable of unlocking certain spiritual energies within us. The Kama Sutra was created for that reason..the unlocking of spiritual energies through sex and love.
Thus both married and unmarried individuals can have sex according to Hinduism provided they are doing it out of LOVE and not lust.
However Indian society frowns on sex between unmarried individuals.
Also the Bhagavad Gita does not speak about sexual intercourse or its purposes and the Hare Krishna's have distorted the message of Krishna greatly.
