Default Hinduism; There are Many Spiritual Books in Sanatana Dharma. But IT IS SEEN ONLY GEETA

To the best of my knowledge, I understand no other Book has the HONOUR OF ITS BIRTH DAY BEING CELEBRATED SO GRACIOUSLY.
Why Bhagavath Geeta has been SUCH A PLACE AND HONOUR BY ALL BELIEVERS ALMOST?

Is there any other Book , whose Birth day is celebrated Similarly ?
Please support your answer with your views.
Those who do not Know What Bhagavath Geeta is , may KINDLY refrain from passing sarcastic remarks.
This question is posed in Yahoo India R & S only please.

There are so many members who copuld have starred at least to bring the Q to the attention of their contacts. It is really disappointing.
Edit;
Friends, Only one day is left now.No one added any details and no other Member thought it fit either to answer or at least to STAR it for their contacts benefit. The Greatness of Bhagavath Geeta and what actually its essence in brief that made it a Universal Book , no one shared their thoughts.

In the eternity of eternities, there is a dimension called faith.
There are an eternity of eternities and faith is in itself an eternity.

Is it connected to other things? Is it contingent? In some ways.
Is faith action? In some ways. Is faith absolute knowledge?
In some ways. God operates by faith: yours.

You ask: what should I do? God answers: Love your enemies.

Turn Inwards.. Turn to krona

krona is the supreme person, the only GOD
krona is the ultimate controller of this material and spiritual energy

Bhagavad G?t? :

He who does work for Me, he who looks upon Me as his goal, he who worships Me, free from attachment, who is free from enmity to all creatures, he goes to Me

" I am the source of all spiritual and material worlds. Everything emanates from Me. The wise who perfectly know this engage in my devotional service and worship me with all their hearts." (10.8)

Radhakrishnan Sir,

Yes Bagawad Geetha is certainly a good spiritual book. There is reference as to where and when it was told by whom is found in epics.

There is another book "Thirukkural" written by Thiruvalluvar in Tamil, which is translated in many of the world languages next to Bible. Origin of the book as to when actually it was written is not known, but with the available records, it is more than 2040 years back from now.

One specialty here in Thirukkural is that Thiruvalluvar though a theist, has not mentioned about any particular religion, but said about the morals and codes for better living.

In Tamil Nadu, Thiruvalluvar day is observed on subsequent day after Pongal Day the Makara Sankaranthi.

The other texts are written by learned people about the rituals and traditions and beliefs and how a god should be worshiped, and about gods themselves. Where as Geeta is considered a direct dialogEUy god to man. In it, God (Krishna avatar in this case) who acknowledges that he is Naraayana, is preaching to Nara (Arjun), the mystries of life, and how we must conduct ourselves if we are to live a good life. It is by this book that the households in india take their inspirations, therefore it is one of the most important works ever written, next to Ramayana. So you are actually celebrating the God's words, spoken so long ago, that are till today adhere to and refereed to in real life and reel life as well.

Hello Ramakrishna,to my little knowledge i think 'Goethe' is the only book which guide us through Hinduism ,a direct message from lord Krishna,if the essence of Goethe is reached properly than we understand the reason to continue in this world.
Goethe is a torch in the dark for all the spiritual believers,in our country holding SRO HogarthTheetha is considered as sacred
