No Hindu will tell any body to become Hindu. There is no ritual to become Hindu. Hindu name is given by other continent people when they came to India. Great epics of Hindu mythology are Ramayana and Mahabharata. There is no occasion where some one is converted to Hindu. Hindus believe in protecting humanity and universe. Hindu believe only in mail and fem ail. in our epics mar rages have taken place between Rakshas (UN human natured peopels or he mans) and humans when they have similar thinking and interested in well being. There is no bar in what we eat, what we speak, where we stay. Even today many hindus eat beaf. To survive and help uplift humanity you can do any thing. We respect cow because cows milk and human milk has same quantity of all vitamins and minerals only fat is 1 or 2 % more. Hence eating cows flesh is like eating mothers flesh so we belive cow as our mother.
Lord shiva is distroyer of all living things so that in next life creature can do some thing to protect the earth our mother and universe. We call earth as mother because here we take birth. As we grow old our body gets worn out so during this time we have to do some thing good for humanity and for earth and universe so thet we will get higher order of life that is we may get life from small creature to higher order creature. highect order creature is human because in this life we can think and do some thing good for humanity. if we are doing bad we belive that we will go to lower and lower order of birth in next life and there we cannot think of doing good we have to do to fill our belly.
We belive lord Bramha has given life to all the species on the earth including plants. Lord Vishnu is belived to be protecting all these living things. Lord shivs takes livfe to give new birth. thus if we are deciving othere lord Vishnu punishes us, if it goes beyound certain limit lord shivs takes life before getting older. This does not mean that some one dies in young age after doing good things might have done some sin, but god wants him to place in better position as human to do better for humanity. Thus Hindu fear to lord Vishnu and Lord Shiva and prey every day to give better thoughts to do good things. For hindus it is not necessery to go to temple to prey because we belive we have all the gods in our body itself so we take bath every day morning and first thing we prey god. Hindus also prey all other gods of all the religions and casts if they feel the god is safeguarding them or humanity or universe.
If you strongly belive in your own god and give hand to uplift humanity and earth as hole I hope your god will pat your back and you may take birth in human life in next birth this is what I feel.
