Default What is the Hinduism view on people who are not Hindu?

I've been learning about Hinduism in my high school world history course, because it's part of world history in relation to India. I know they believe in people being born over and over again, and their social class in the next life is determined based on their actions in their current life, but what is their view on people who aren't Hindu, and societies that don't have the Hindu caste system?

For example, someone in America or Europe being born poor, but they work their way up to a high social class -- how would Hindu's view that? Do they believe in some sort of punishment for non-Hindu's, like the concept of hell in Abrahamic religions? Or is it that they're generally not concerned about other places in the way Christians and Muslims are?

They won't go to hell. They'll reincarnate like everyone else. If they have led good lives, it might up their chances of being reborn as a Hindu.

Actually Hindus believe in Karma. Karma means our thoughts, deeds and speeches. Karma is just like reaction to action. That reaction may be immediately or after few years or in next life. So based on our karma our next life will be decided. If we have good faith in God and did good deeds in our life so the soul will get liberation from cycle of death and rebirth (Moksha) otherwise soul will be reincarnated.

Hinduism dozen?t condemn non-Hindus for hell including atheists. When a non-Hindu asked to one of the famous saint of Hinduism to convert her, that saint told that if you were good person in your religion then really you would be Hindu. Actually Hinduism dozen?t promote conversion, but if anyone wants can join.

Edit:
Hinduism believes that whole Universe is body/part of God and hence all His creations must be adored and loved.

Hinduism accepts all faiths as pointers towards the Truth

Hinduism believe in

Vasudaiva cutbacks (Meaning: Whole world is family of God)

Sarve Jana Sukhino Bhavanthu || (Meaning: May all people be happy)

Thanks

First of all the hereditary caste system is not integral to Hinduism, in fact in the earliest scriptures it was clear that caste was not inherited. People were and should be able to work towards a better life, though ideally this is spiritual as well as material.

Everyone is subject to Karma, and it may have affects in this life or those following. Being poor and having to work up may be the right thing for someone who has taken wealth for granted and not shared or helped others.

We do believe in hellish planes (the Narakaloka) where especially bad people can be born, though this is not permanent like the Christian concept of hell, and Hindus or non-Hindus alike could be born there if they lead bad lives.

Basically the word Hindu itself was coined by Arabs.

In Sanatahana Dharmam Caste(Jaathi) is NOT a Religious issue

In Ancient Indian Culture Jaathi(Caste ) is a Social Order---

Students in High School should be taught the right things
