1- Hindusim is the oldest religion on planet earth
2- Hinduism believes in ONE GOd (called Brahm, AUM)

I didn't have misconceptions about Hinduism, and I know they worship COWS and stuff like that!! And by the way, you didn't have the right to call me ignorant because I "forgot" Hinduism in my question, I didn't, I simply gave SOME examples, and I did say "and anything else" which apparently includes ALL other beliefs. I can't numerate them all you know!! I didn't mention Wicca but they didn't feel abused!! Be open-minded!!
I hate religion, but I do like Hindu and Buddhism. So I like you. But, I have to tell you, not to upset you or condescend on you, but Hinduism is not the oldest religion. The oldest religion, this is historical fact, was Zoroastrism. It is the basis for all other religions. I also love rats, and Hindu are awesome for recognizing their power. Wanna chat, e-mail me at wenc_me@yahoo.com I'm not prejudice, so I am also not religious, but I enjoy learning from others, not hating them.
5. Hinduism like other religions firmly believes God created the universe and earth. Only difference it, we believe God created everything from himself - that is why we say there is a part of God in everything. Hence the greeting 'Namaste' which means 'i bow to God within you'
I have studied spirituality and religions for many years, nearly 18 years now since I was in my late teens. I found Hinduism philosophies a great source of Truth, Knowledge, Wisdom and Love. So I ended up being so drawn to it applying its philosophies into my life. Now I seriously follow the teachings of Mata Amritanandamayi. I've been a devotee of hers for a year now.
I am still learning a lot about Hinduism. I LOVE reading books about Indian sages (ALL of them!). Hey who is that in the picture you use for your avatar?
