Sanskrit is not a language purely for expression of thought/word/deed which has been in usage in the aryan /mixed aryadravid sects.it is subproduct of vedas tranferred from sruthi to smrithi to convey the phenomenal existence to the nonvariant/everlasting/allpervading/allmighty in the rhythamic sound, which can be used only by the enlightened/chordally connected soul.but i donot want to comment on the present sect.like any other language sanscrit is also a medium of communication used for worshipping the allmighty,in different forms of comfortably conceivable concept.not willing to add more complex details.

I doubt there is any secret in that. It was Sanskrit that is gone through Sanskar that is purified. We use our best things in puma. we try to be pure while worship. So with clean atmosphere, clean clothes and best offerings the language they chose was also what our ancestors thought was best.

Actually Sanskrit was the language of learned people. The writers of books belonged to that category only and used Sanskrit as standard language.

Seeing that there are so many languages and dialects in India it was a wise step. Sanskrit text were standard and it connected all most all Indian languages. Its really a very easy language with very scientific gramme rules. All the scripts used in India are variation of Nagari only. No secret in that.

Sanskrit believably used by the Aryans in olden India for communicating the thoughts/expression and deeds of the nature also mythologicalLynown to be originated from Vedas.
Likewise, operational aspect of the Sanskrit is also said as having the process of 'shruthi' (what is heard) to 'smrithi' (memory) conveying the nature's phenomena of rhythmic sound and ecstasy.
The present state of Sanskrit being in shambles and whatever we have in our custody being a residue filtered by Germans (Maxmuller), authenticity could not be ascertained.
Worshipping under Hinduism based on the Vedas, Upanishath and Puranas believed to be written in Sanskrit is natural to follow in that language only, in absence of any commendable personalities who ever bothered to muster the strength and courage of making such a warranting situation. Alas!
