I am not so sure about the religious reasons behind it. but the rest of the world is rather excepting on people being happy. they dint have the same phobias of trans genders and homosexuality. everyone accepts that's just the way it is. Americans (as a whole) seem to be the only people with the preconceived notion that everything is black and white. and everything that's not average is wrong. I mean was it not just a few years ago that plastic surgery was almost considered the same thing but we accepted that with no problems because it was making women have bigger breasts and smaller stomachs?????
