Religious people? Why are you right and all other religions are wrong? Muslim?, Hindu

Have you ever thought you might be supporting the wrong team?
Or even that there is no game being played?

I believe that if we are to be judged, we will be judged on our actions and behavior to others, not on the prayers we say or the foods we eat, or the clothes others tell us to wear.....is that wrong?
I have loved all the answers but no one has explained why their beliefs are better than the beliefs of millions of others of another religion. Most people believe what they have been brought up to believe...Muslims from the middle east have children who grown up to be Muslims as that is what they are taught....for instance. Middle America wasps, bring up junior wasps....or is that too general? If you religion is the correct one why is there BILLIONS of people who disagree with you?

Answer that and stay fashionable!

Christianity is the right religion there is only one God.

Christianity is an absolute fraud,deceit, hoax, and fairytale that's for sure. Anyone who looks into the matter will come to the conclusion that Christianity is nothing but made up junk, unless they have been systematically brainwashed into being fearful and ignorant followers of the lies.

Religion has existed as long as there have been people to worship.
Religion is man's way of reaching out to God.
Jesus Christ is God's way of reaching down to man.

I think it is conceited of every religion to believe their prophet or their way of worship ping and their deity is the only one who will take them to paradise. Christians, Muslims are all convinced everyone else is not going to paradise.

I totally agree with you man, IF god can't allow a man of good in heaven just because he doesn't bow down to him... isn't worth Believing in...I'm a good person, i give out food to people, give out money to people that need it... i do community service, love life, one-woman lover, well-educated, Fit body, BUT i am an agnostic, grew up in a functionalALamily, and i kindof poor myself and istill give people stuff when they need it, and yet if i don't let jesus into my heart im going to hell? Neither is the right religion, all of them are the right religion. Its the person the follows the religion that matters. If someone takes whatever their book and religion says literally without stopping to think about it, its the wrong person, not the religion. The person chooses what to do, the religion isn't your brain.

I believe that if you believe in only one God, then it doesn't matter what religion you are.

That is exactly why I refuse to join any religion. They all spout their own self-serving drivel in an effort to get you to join their exclusive Mickey-God Club, and they fight, squabble and kill over simple things like different interpretations of the same text. It's insane. Religion is supposed to be a force that allows you to live your life well, to treat others well and to basically do the right thing. What ever happened to "love thy neighbor"? The hatred and death caused by religious strife, even among different sects of the same basic religion, is insane. It is why I have always been, and always will be, an agnostic. I am just a little human on a tiny planet in a huge universe. I don't know if there is some higher force pulling the strings (other than the Universe itself, that is), so I am not an atheist. I will not join an organized religion...they have caused more death and destruction than the Bloods, Crips or any other organized group of people!

And I believe that when you die, that's it! End of story, you moulder into dust and that this whole after-life insurance you buy by belonging to a religion is set up as a method of control to make sure you toe the line. Again, that is my "belief", I could be wrong.

Have you ever asked yourself that question? Namely, why do you believe that you're right and others are wrong?

My point is that we all think we're right or we wouldn't think what we do.

Jesus Christ said "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."

The Bible says everyone will be judged according their own laws and customs, until they are given a chance to hear the Gospel. So technically they cannot be wrong if they have never heard the word of God, or reject it once they hear it.

You make a good point. and you are right (well according to Islam anyways), people will be judged by their actions based on how much they know. In Islam we do not believe whoever is not Muslim will go to hell. And in regards to people not being judged by what they eat etc.... threes a reason why god has told us so. for egg. in Islam you cant drink alcohol for the obvious reasons of loss of self control, damage to your body, more likely to be violent and more likely to be sexually aggressive.
