Why doesn't Islam condemn suicide bombers as a whole?
It's a simple enough question. If Islam is supposed to be a peaceful religion, why don't they unite and oppose terrorism. It would certainly help their PR. So, why do extremists still believe that they will be greeted by a bunch of virgins after they blow up a bus. The point of this hypothetical is that I wonder how much of Islam is really rooting for these extremists, but just won't say it?
REAL ISLAM condemns it clearly. As Quran says, killing a Innocent is like killing all humanity.
I know i used the word REAL ISLAM, because the MEAN STREAM ISLAM is not REAL ISLAM, it is a distorted form Of REAl ISLAM. Islam simply means "PEACE" where do you see peace in to days' Islam
they think they will automatically go to heaven to have sex with black haired virgins for ever if the are a suicide bomber i would like to see their face when they end up in hell and Jesus tells them they were WRONG!
I would say the even bigger question is not why do average or non-educated Muslims believe ridiculous things about the west and think that murder is okay because we are so evil -- but why do the Educated, world travel led Muslims who live here and in Europe perpetuate the same ridiculous lies to each other, to keep hate for western cultures alive. They know better. It is the moral responsibility of the educated, upper classes of Muslims to stop the deception and correct their underclasses. It's unbelievable to me that educated people would spread lies and hatred. This is horrid and appalling.
Just to update, mod_b13 has made my point perfectly. There are people willing to perpetuate lies and hatred for no apparent reason against the west. They will never take responsibilities for the atrocities that their LIES cause, but they continue to spread them just to bring more violence to others. These people are reprehensible and disgusting, especially when they are in the position to spread truth and they spread hate. DISGUSTING.

There is no Earthly central authority for the Islamic Faith, such as the Pope is for Catholics, or the like.
Also, there are numerous violent sects that claim allegiance to the Islamic Faith, although they have nothing to do with the True Faith of Islam. (They're sorta like a "Christian" cult that sacrifices babies, or whatever, as part of their "Biblical Interpretation.")
All leading adherents to the True Faith of Islam HAVE condemned the mass killings of innocent people. But look at all the Catholics who ignore THEIR leader AND Jesus who go around blissfully killing babies (abortion) or committing adultery (divorce and remarriage,) etc.
Religious leaders have done their part, but all men still have their free will to use for good or evil.
it would seem from the lack of any real mass action (imagine a protest against terrorism the size of the protests against cartoons for example) - that Islam supports suicide bombers and continued war against non-Muslims. the "religion of peace" is not in anyway peace full. Islam needs to reform
Not All of these bombers are really mo slims.. and Islam doesn't allow to kill anyone without a reason..

you only see what the bombers do when you watch the NEWS but you dint see the whole truth, you must know the whole truth before you judge...
at first the meaning of word Islam in English is peace

in Islam its not allowed to kill a human (just if he wants to kill you or makes a real danger on your life ) and on the other hand its not allowed to kill your self !!!
