right after he sinned he asked god for forgiveness and god forgave him but told him that he still had to take the punishment for what he did which was to live on earth.

1st of all both Adam and eve-but were responsible for the sin, and u will find this mentioned almost 70 times in Quran. also they were forgiven. if God would have been angry with both Adam and eve-but, then there would have been no human on earth.

yes when Adam and eve -but were thrown out of Heaven, God was angry with them. they wandered in wilderness for days but on the day of ARAFAH ,day before ID-UL- Zuha or Bakrid, Allah commanded them to offer a prayer service and sacrifice. and they did and asked for repentence. but still God was a bit tough on them. finally Adam-pbuh said something that changed Allah's decision, he said, "Olord! Pardon us for the love of Thy muhammed-pbuh." and that was it, Allah did accept their forgiveness.

now many people would question how did Adam-pbuh know about muhammed-pbuh when muhammed-pbuh was not born?also how did Allah forgive them?

the answer lies in Surah2 Al-Baqarah .this shows Adam-pbuh being taught about all the names of 1,23,000 prophets that were to come. alsp it shows the sin and why satan was rejected. and it shows the dialogue where Allah forgave them.

30 And when thy Lord said unto the angels: Lo! I am about to place a viceroy in the earth, they said: Wilt thou place therein one who will do harm therein and will shed blood, while we, we hymn Thy praise and sanctify Thee? He said: Surely I know that which ye know not.
31 And He taught Adam all the names, then showed them to the angels, saying: Inform Me of the names of these, if ye are truthful.
32 They said: Be glorified! We have no knowledge saving that which Thou hast taught us. Lo! Thou, only Thou, art the Knower, the Wise.
33 He said: O Adam! Inform them of their names, and when he had informed them of their names, He said: Did I not tell you that I know the secret of the heavens and the earth? And I know that which ye disclose and which ye hide.
34 And when We said unto the angels: Prostrate yourselves before Adam, they fell prostrate, all save Iblis. He demurred through pride, and so became a disbeliever.
35 And We said: O Adam! Dwell thou and thy wife in the Garden, and eat ye freely (of the fruits) thereof where ye will; but come not nigh this tree lest ye become wrong-doers.
36 But Satan caused them to deflect therefrom and expelled them from the (happy) state in which they were; and We said: Fall down, one of you a foe unto the other! There shall be for you on earth a habitation and provision for a time.
37 Then Adam received from his Lord words (of revelation), and He relented toward him. Lo! He is the relenting, the Merciful.
38 We said: Go down, all of you, from hence; but verily there cometh unto you from Me a guidance; and whoso followeth My guidance, there shall no fear come upon them neither shall they grieve.

No.

God never curses earth. Earth is good place to live if obeyed by the commandments of God almighty.

God forgave Adam when he repentant here on earth.

Muslims believe that Adam and Eve were created by God to live in this world for a period of time, but it was Gods plan to teach them ORIGINAL LESSON. We do not believe in original sin but in original lesson. God wanted to teach them that you are going into the world. When you go there, watch out for the devil, because he will trick you as he trick your first parent. But when he does trick you, you turn back to God in sincere repentance and God will forgive you as he forgave your first parents. What we have here the lesson of original forgiveness.

-----------------------------------------

Regarding the concept of original sin, it is taught by the church. What the church teaches that Eve (pub), she tempted Adam pub to eat the forbidden food, and because of that humankind is born in Sin.

In Quran, the story of Adam and Eve is mentioned. But there is not a single verse in the Quran which puts the blame only on Eve pub. If you read the Quran 7:19-27, it says both of them disobeys Almighty God. Both of them repented and both of them was forgiven. The blame is put equally on both. There is not a single verse in the Quran which puts the blame only on Eve pub. But there is one verse in Quran which speaks about only Adam pbuh, i.e. Quran 20:121 says that Adam pbuh disobeys almighty God.
I am asking you a question that Did Eve and Adam peace be upon them ask me to eat the forbidden food? No. So how can I be held responsible. Its illogical! If they ask me and i have given them permission then i will be responsible.

According to the bible sin is not inherited.
EZEKIEL 18:20 The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the sin of the father, neither shall the father bear the sin of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.
EZEKIEL 18:21 But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die.

If son shall not bear the sin of father, how can we be born in sin. What the church teaches that sin is inherited, is against the bible. Islam says that every child is born sinless.

DEUTERONOMY 24:16 The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, neither shall the children be put to death for the fathers: every man shall be put to death for his own sin.

________________________

But in the Bible, the blame is put only on Eve pbuh. In Genesis 3:16, Almighty God says that pregnancy is punishment in the bible because Eve pbuh disobeys God. Quran says in 4:1 that respect the womb that bore you. Quran also says in 31:14 & 46:15 "We have enjoined on man kindness to his parents: In pain did his mother bear him, and in pain did she give him birth......."

Pregnancy uplifts the woman. it does not degrade her like the bible.

The Islamic perspective is simple. We do not believe in an 'original' sin as the Christians do. We do believe in an 'original' lesson given to Adam and Eve from their Lord. The lesson was simplistic in nature in that Allah showed Adam and Eve that the Devil is your sworn enemy, he will try to deceive you and lead you astray from what your lord has ordained for and promised you. And that in these times, if you turn and repent for what you have done Allah is most merciful and will forgive the sin.

No, the Qur'an does not say that Adam's sin caused God to curse the earth. Why would God curse the earth when He already knew how humans would act? ?[?] When your Lord told the angels, ?I am putting a successor on earth,? they (angels) said, ?How can You put someone there who will cause damage and bloodshed when we celebrate Your praise and proclaim Your holiness?? But He said, ?I know things you do not.? ?

God cursed Satan, but forgave Adam. Satan disobeyed his Lord, and Adam disobeyed his Lord. So why did Adam not receive the same treatment as Satan? Satan insisted on his disobedience; but Adam, on the other hand, immediately regretted what he had done and asked for forgiveness. That is the huge difference between them. Without repentance, there is no human who could escape Hell, for people are admitted into Paradise only through God?s Mercy.

After Adam had ate from the tree, God reprimanded him. ?Their Lord called to them, ?Did I not forbid you to approach that tree? Did I not warn you that Satan was your sworn enemy?' They (Adam and Eve) replied, ?Our Lord, we have wronged our souls: if You do not forgive us and have mercy, we shall be lost.? When Adam was led astray, he did not know, at the time, that his Lord was called ?The Acceptor of Repentance?; he wanted to repent but did not know how. So he was overtaken by confusion and ran away with Eve until God called him and said, ?Are you running to escape from Me Adam?? Adam replied, ?No my Lord, I am running because I am ashamed of myself.?

Then God told Adam, Eve, and Satan: "Get down, one of you an enemy to the other. On earth will be a dwelling place for you and an enjoyment, - for a time."

After being sent down to earth, Adam wept and got distressed for being expelled from Heaven and the presence of his Lord. So God said to him, ?O Adam, you used to enter on Me like a king would enter upon a king; but now you enter as a servant would enter upon a king, and that is how I prefer it. O Adam, if you and your progeny never committed of fences, then on whom shall I exercise My Mercy? And on whom shall I exercise My Forgiveness? And on whom shall I exercise My Generosity? O Adam, I prefer the cry of the guilty over the praises of a person who boasts about his obedience. O Adam, I prefer a sin to which you humble yourself for Me over a faithful obedience you have undertaken for My sake. O Adam, do not let your heart be troubled for My saying: ?Get out? for I have created it (Heaven) for you. However, get down to earth and work hard for My cause so that when you miss Heaven, I will admit you back into it.?
