I guess it's like an explanation book for the Qumran. It's supposed to go into more detail about the teachings of Muhammad.
I think it was written by Muhammad or someone close to him.
Actually there are two books . One is "Terrorism for Dummies", the other is "A Bombmaking Primer". When you get to higher levels you are also expected to read "Why being a suicide bomber will set you free". Very good question.
Muslims rely on 2 branches in the religion
1- the Quran ( the Muslim holy book) and there are books that explain it in details.
2- Sunnah ( Prophet Muhammed teachings ) there are also many books that explain his teachings and his quotes.
the Hadith is the fa mouse oral tradition and prophecies of Prophet Muhammed (peace be upon him)
the books are written by Muslim scholars and the Hadiths are narrated by the Prophet's closest companions like (his wife Aisha, her father Abi Bakr and many more close friend of the Holt Prophet)
the Eadith is the oral traditions of Mohammed... and some are goo fey....
check this out... it gives selections from the Koran and the Eadith

um the Qur'an is what was reviled to Muhammad (saws) by Allah (Set)
Hadith literally means "tradition," and it constitutes for most Muslims the second set of religious scriptures - almost, but not quite as important as the Qur'an. Collected into authoritative books, these represent reports about the sayings and actions of the Prophet Muhammad (saws) and his immediate followers while he was alive.
All Hadiths should be relevant and be explained by an ayah (verse) in the Qur'an for it to be valid.
Most Muslims accept the authenticity of six different collections of Hadith. The most authoritative is that collected by Bukhari, and the rest are Muslim, Ibn Maja, Abu Dawud, al-Tirmidhi, and al-Nisai. All of these sources are relatively late. Bukhari, regarded as the best, died 238 years after Muhammad, and the latest, al-Nisai, died another 280 years after that.
Tafseer is comentary of the Qur'an and is not always right because it is not from a reliable source
You do know the practice of Islam is like 50% slavery to the word and the mullahs and 50% submission to image of your head on the floor and adz in the air and self denial with some chastising tossed in..
There is no book that goes with the Quran!!! The Quran is one book and it stands alone. What you might be referring to is the Hadeeth. The Hadeeth is not a book! It is the sayings and actions performed by Prophet Muhammad (pub)!!!
