Arabic is a language of only small number of Muslims. but during my travels to non Arabic speaking Muslim countries, i saw Muslim s repeating Arabic Koranic verses that even they dint understand. These people are made to by heart the entire Koran in Arabic like parrots without knowing even the meaning of one word.
How stupid do you thin they are?
Most of them know the meaning, and of course, there are also translations of the Koran. The point in having it in Arabic is to ensure it won't be altered.
Christians used Latin too for 1000 years, and the poor people had no idea what they do at all in the church.

if u know to read and write any language then its not to difficult to understand the language, of course u wouldn't know that cos u dint know anything other than English,
anyways people who read the holy Qumran, go Thur 8 years of training where they are tough how to holy Qumran with the meaning, and teach them to understand they holy Qumran

At least most Muslims learn Arabic (the language the Qumran was actually written in). Most Christians read the bible in English, which means what they are reading has been transcribed and translated from other languages at least twice!
Some of the Muslims take it as their life's work to teach these "uneducated" folk (who don't understand). I've met a guy who's into that. More power to him!

though not everyone would understand every single word in Qumran.muslims know the meaning of most of the words and teachings of the holy Qumran.
by keep in the Qumran in its original form means that it remains the same and unchanged.Arabic is the main language of Islam.
Reading Quran and Memorising it is the actual reason that the Qumran is the same as it was 1400 years ago. why their are so many versions of bible? because there is no bible in its original language. if a Muslim learns the Qumran by heart and he doesn't attempts to know its meaning it definitely is his fault not the fault of Islam.
your next question that seems is why Qumran is in Arabic? Arabic can explain most complex things in few words. it has thousands words for one thing and yet everyword has its own independent meaning. shortly i would say Arabic is the Best language in The world. Remember i am not an Arab by myself, i am a pakistani and speak pushto and urdu and sometimes english, i also know arabic.

But see, there are 9.2 billion registered" Hafiz-ul- Qur'aan".(Qur'aan learnt by heart people which are certified to be true & complete learner of Qur'aan).
Along with this there are also millions of muslims who learn Qur'aan but have no access to a certified Hafiz or institute of Qur'aan.sso they r not registered..
Also there are people who have learnt half or a part of it.
Now see what do we conclude from this?
Only the Qur'aan (in Arabic) has some spiritual thing due to which muslim children even of age 5 can also learn it easily.
U know the youngest person who is certified Hafiz is just 6years old.
As far as learning it by heart but not understanding the real meaning of it is now-a-days becoming common as people have lesser time to pray due to worldy deeds............
First off, who's stupid? You for sitting on your ass typing this question and surfing on line? Or them for actually doing something like memorizing an entire book? They believe there is a reward in it for them, just like Christians believe there is a reward in it for them to go to church on Sundays.
They do learn by heart but it is like us learning poetry...
Repetition is easily learned.
Like I keep saying, they can't read so how do they know for sure who their god is? He certainly is NOT the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob.

Quran is the word of almighty God. Have you ever heard a recitation of Quran? If so, you'll understand. It has a tremendous effect on its reciter in its original language. Thats why they do it. Hundreds years back, Arabic was the language of science and astronomy and Arabic will be the global language in the end times of this world and Arabic will be the language of here after. Better if you cannot appreciate that, mind your own business.
Do you understand the Latin words spoken in Church?!
Qur?an wasn't intended to be just read only. It's a way of life and instructions that go so deep to your smallest needs, just as the other holly books. Arab Muslims can read Qur?an easily but as you know not all Muslims are Arabs. The problem here my friends is these non-Arab nations are so poor or they just didn't have the source of learning Arabic (it's a long story). They have all the well to learn but the privilege of extra time s not there because they either work and feed their children or they will be thrown on the streets. The least they could reach is learning reading in Arabic which is mostly a personal effort

It's sad to happen to any follower to any religion, being far from God just as much as want to be close.
Islam has been, still and will be a misunderstood religion. We can blame anyone if we want or just find Islam guilty.

Can't you see what they are trying to do ... They are trying to protect Quran from getting corrupted just like Bible and Torah ...
They are trying to prevent Quran from getting translated and then re-translated and re-translated on and on ... till the real meanings are corrupted ...
And then many versions of the Quran appears ... just like the Bible and Torah...
And when they need to learn a meaning of a certain verse they refer to a translation of the MEANING of that verse in their own mother language ...
