Default Why wont MUSLIMS remove the HORRIFYING GENOCIDE SURAH AT-TAWBA (Chapter 9 in Quran)?

Ever wonder why so many Muslims constantly interpret the Quran in a violent way? The reason is because the Quran has so much violent language, that it is easy for a significant percentage of followers to exercise a violent application.

Anyone who says "its doesn't mean that" totally misses the point. Humans can only interpret their world, we can never know absolute truth. The only way we can ever possess absolute truth is if God exists and he shares it with us in the afterlife.

No two Muslims see the entire Quran the same, as we should expect with all religions. The problem is, since the Quran speaks so often of violence, so long as the Quran exists as is, it is a absolute certainty Muslims will murder based on a perceived religious calling in the Quran.

Start by reading the horrifying Surah At-Tawba. See for yourself. http://cwis.usc.edu/dept/MSA/quran/009.qmt.htm

Quran 9:20 ?FIGHT (Jihad) THOSE WHO BELIEVE NOT IN ALLAH.?http://cwis.usc.edu/dept/MSA/quran/009.qmt.htm
What makes this Surah so horrifying is that it directly calls for the murder of unbelievers with NO QUALFIERS.

Further, it is written in the PRESENT TENSE, so the reader is not prompeted to believe this was meant for another time and is a mere story (allegory).

For example, in the bible, Leviticus has a savage section of murder for God, but its story language is unmistakable..."God asked Moses to kill all the babelyonians".

Thus, literally no Christians, not a single one, has ever supported asserted that Leviticus was the motive for murder.

BUT MANY MUSLIMS, for good reason, cannot help but to believe they are called to murder unbelievers today and the cite these very ayas directly, as most of you know.

We are instructed by the Noble Qura'an to answer back with the word "Peace" when addressed by ignorants, so again: Peace.

Muhammed A ? Z
May Allah Exalt his Mention
By Yusuf Estes, Former Christian Preacher

Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Abdul Muttalib
Born 570 C.E. (Christian Era); died 633 C.E.

The following is based on books, manuscripts, texts and actual eyewitness accounts, too numerous to mention herein, preserved in original form throughout the centuries by both Muslims and non-Muslims.

Many people today are discussing Prophet Muhammad, may Allah exalt his mention. Who was he exactly? What did he teach? Why was he loved so much by some and hated so much by others? Did he live up to his claims? Was he a holy man? Was he a prophet of God? What is the truth about this man?You be the judge.
Here are the facts as narrated by thousands of people, many of whom knew him personally.
*He was born to a noble tribe to the lineage of the leaders of Makkah.
*His name comes from the Arabic root "Hamid" and literally means "praised one." People at his time and until this very moment, praise him many times per day, may Allah exalt his mention.
*He never fell into the common practice of his tribesmen to worship statues, idols or man-made "gods."
*He believed that God was truly One God, and as such, He was to be worshiped alone, without any other "gods" beside Him.
*He held the Name of God in the highest of reverence and never took God's Name in vain or for any vain glorious purpose.
*He despised false worship and all of the complexities and degradation to which it leads.
*He adhered to the Commandments of Almighty God, just as prophets of old had done in the past.
*He never committed adultery, and he forbade others from doing it.
*He forbade usury and interest on money lending, as Jesus, may Allah exalt his mention, had done centuries before him.
*He never gambled and did not allow it.
*He never drank alcohol or strong drink; even though it was a very normal thing for people of his time and place.
*He did not engage in gossip and used to turn away from hearing anything related to it.
*He fasted for days at a time to be closer to Almighty God and away from the narrowness of worldly attractions.
*He taught that Jesus, may Allah exalt his mention, was the immaculate conception and miracle birth of Mary, and that she was among the best creation of Almighty God.
*He insisted even to the Jews of Medina, that Jesus, may Allah exalt his mention, was the Messiah, the Christ, the one predicted to come in their Torah (Old Testament).
*He said Jesus, may Allah exalt his mention, did many miracles by the permission of Almighty God, curing the lepers, restoring sight to the blind and even bringing a dead man back to life.
*He stated clearly that Jesus, may Allah exalt his mention, was not dead, rather Almighty God had raised him up.
*He foretold that Jesus, may Allah exalt his mention, is going to return again in the Last Days to lead the true believers in a victory over the evil and unrighteous people, and he will destroy the Anti-Christ.
*He commanded the payment of charity to the poor and he was the defender and protector of widows, orphans and the wayfarers.
*He ordered people to unite with their families and honor the ties of kinship and he restored relationships between family members.
*He required his followers to engage only in lawful marriage relationships with women, and forbade sex outside of Almighty God's Ordinance.
*He insisted on giving women their proper rights, dowries, inheritance and property.
*His patience and humble attitude were exemplary and all who knew him had to admit to these virtues.
A. He never lied, never broke a trust never bore false witness, and he was famous with all the tribes in Makkah and was known as: "The Truthful" (Al-Ameen).
B. He never once engaged in sex outside of marriage, nor did he ever approve of it, even though it was very common at the time.
C. His only relationships with women were in legitimate, contractual marriages with proper witnesses according to law.
D. His relationship to Ayesha was only that of marriage. Their relationship is described in every detail by Ayesha herself in the most loving and respectful manner as a match truly made in heaven. Ayesha is considered as one of the highest scholars of Islam and lived out her entire life only having been married to Muhammad, may Allah exalt his mention. She never desired any other man, nor did she ever utter a single negative statement against Muhammad, may Allah exalt his mention.
E. He forbade any killing until the orders came from Allah. Even then the limits were clearly spelled out and only those engaged in active combat against the Muslims or Islam were to be fought in combat. And even then, only according to very strict rules from Allah.
F. Killing any innocent life was forbidden.
G. There was no genocide of Jews. He offered mutual protection and forgiveness to the Jews even after they broke their covenants with him many times. They were not attacked until it was clearly proven they were traitors during time of war and tried to bring down the prophet, may Allah exalt his mention, and the Muslims at any cost. Retaliation was only to those Jews who had turned traitor and not others.
H. Slaves were common in those days for all nations and tribes. It was Islam that encouraged freeing of the slaves and the great reward from Allah for those who did so. Prophet, may Allah exalt his mention, gave the example of this by freeing slaves and encouraging all of his followers to do the same. Examples include his own servant (who was actually considered like a son to him) Zaid ibn Al Haritha and Bilal the slave who was bought by Abu Bakr only for the purpose of freeing him.
I. While there were many attempts of assassination made on Muhammad, may Allah exalt his mention, (most famous was the night that Ali took his place in bed while he and Abu Bakr escaped to Madinah), he did not allow his companions to slaughter any of those who had been involved in these attempts. Proof for this is when they entered Makkah triumphantly and his first words were to command his followers not to harm such and such tribes and so and so families. This was one of the most famous of his acts of forgiveness and humbleness.
J. Military combat was forbidden for the first thirteen years of prophethood. The desert Arabs did not need anyone to tell them how to fight or do combat. They were experts in this area and held feuds amongst tribes that lasted for decades. It was not until the proper method of warfare was instituted by Allah in the Quran, with proper rights and limitations according His Commandments, that any retaliation or combat was sanctioned. Orders from Allah made it clear who was to be attacked, how and when and to what extent fighting could take place.
K. Destruction of infrastructures is absolutely forbidden except when it is ordained by Allah in certain instances and then only according to His Commands.
L. Cursing and invoking evil actually came to the prophet, may Allah exalt his mention, from his enemies, while he would be praying for their guidance. Classic example is that of his journey to At-Taif where the leaders would not even hear him out nor offer so much as the normal courtesy called for and instead they set the children of the street against him, throwing rocks and stones at him until his body was bleeding so much, blood filled his sandals. He was offered revenge by the angel Gabriel, if he would give the command, Allah would cause the surrounding mountains to fall down upon them destroying them all. Instead of cursing them or asking for their destruction, he prayed for them to be guided to worship their Lord alone, without any partners.
M. Prophet Muhammad, may Allah exalt his mention, claimed every person who is born is born in a state of ISLAM (submission to God), as a Muslim (MU-Islam means; "one who does ISLAM" i.e.; submits to God's Will and obeys His Commandments). Then as they grow older they begin to distort their faith according to the influence of the prevailing society and their own prejudices.
N. Muhammad, may Allah exalt his mention, taught his followers to believe in the God of Adam, Noah, Abraham, Jacob, Moses, David, Solomon and Jesus, peace be upon them all, and to believe in them as true prophets, messengers and slaves of Almighty Allah. He insisted on ranking all the prophets up at the highest level without any distinction between them.
O. He also taught the Torah (Old Testament), Zaboor (Psalms) and Injeel (Gospel or New Testament) were originally from the very same source as the Quran, from Allah.
P. He prophesied and foretold of events to come and they happened as he had said. He even predicted something from the past that would come true in the future, and it has.
The Quran states pharaoh was drowned in the Red Sea while chasing after Moses and Allah said He would preserve Pharaoh as a sign for the future. Dr. Maurice Bucaille in his book, "Bible, Quran and Science" makes it clear this has happened and the very person of Pharaoh has been discovered in Egypt and is now on display for all to see.
This event took place thousands of years before Muhammad, may Allah exalt his mention, and it came true in the last few decades, many centuries after his death.
There has been more written about the prophet Muhammad, may Allah exalt his mention, than any other person on earth. He has been praised very high even by famous non-Muslims for centuries. One of the first examples we quote from is from the Encyclopedia Britannica, as it confirms (regarding Muhammad)?
". . . a mass of detail in the early sources shows that he was an honest and upright man who had gained the respect and loyalty of others who were likewise honest and upright men." (Vol. 12)
Another impressive tribute to Muhammad, may Allah exalt his mention is in the very well written work of Michael H. Hart, "The 100: A Ranking of the Most Influential Persons in History." He states that the most influential person in all history was Muhammad, may Allah exalt his mention, with Jesus second. Examine his actual words:

"My choice of Muhammad to lead the list of the world's most influential persons may surprise some readers and may be questioned by others, but he was the only man in history who was supremely successful on both the religious and secular level."
Michael H. Hart, THE 100: A RANKING OF THE MOST INFLUENTIAL PERSONS IN HISTORY, New York: Hart Publishing Company, Inc., 1978, page. 33.
While we are reviewing statements from famous non-Muslims about Prophet Muhammad, may Allah exalt his mention, consider this:
"Philosopher, orator, apostle, legislator, warrior, conqueror of ideas, restorer of rational dogmas, of a cult without images; the founder of twenty terrestrial empires and of one spiritual empire, that is Muhammad. As regards all standards by which human greatness may be measured, we may well ask, is there any man greater than he?"
Lamartine, HISTOIRE DE LA TURQUIE, Paris, 1854, Vol. II, pp. 276-277.
George Bernard Shaw, a famous writer and non-Muslim says:
"He must be called the Savior of Humanity. I believe that if a man like him were to assume the dictatorship of the modern world, he would succeed in solving its problems in a way that would bring it much needed peace and happiness."
(The Genuine Islam, Singapore, Vol. 1, No. 8, 1936)
K.S. Ramakrishna Rao, an Indian (Hindu) professor of Philosophy, in his booklet "Muhammad the Prophet of Islam" calls him the "perfect model for human life." Professor Ramakrishna Rao explains his point by saying:
"The personality of Muhammad, it is most difficult to get into the whole truth of it. Only a glimpse of it I can catch. What a dramatic succession of picturesque scenes. There is Muhammad the Prophet. There is Muhammad the Warrior; Muhammad the Businessman; Muhammad the Statesman; Muhammad the Orator; Muhammad the Reformer; Muhammad the Refuge of Orphans; Muhammad the Protector of Slaves; Muhammad the Emancipator of Women; Muhammad the Judge; Muhammad the Saint. All in all these magnificent roles, in all these departments of human activities, he is alike a hero."
Mahatma Gandhi, speaking on the character of Muhammad, may Allah exalt his mention, says in 'YOUNG INDIA':
"I wanted to know the best of one who holds today undisputed sway over the hearts of millions of mankind... I became more than convinced that it was not the sword that won a place for Islam in those days in the scheme of life. It was the rigid simplicity, the utter self-effacement of the Prophet, the scrupulous regard for his pledges, his intense devotion to his friends and followers, his intrepidity, his fearlessness, his absolute trust in God and in his own mission. These and not the sword carried everything before them and surmounted every obstacle. When I closed the 2nd volume (of the Prophet's biography), I was sorry there was not more for me to read of the great life."
Thomas Carlyle in his 'Heroes and Hero Worship', was simply amazed as to:
"How one man single handedly, could weld warring tribes and wandering Bedouins into a most powerful and civilized nation in less than two decades."
Diwan Chand Sharma wrote in "The Prophets of the East":
"Muhammad was the soul of kindness, and his influence was felt and never forgotten by those around him"
(D.C. Sharma, The Prophets of the East, Calcutta, 1935, pp. 12)
Muhammad, may Allah exalt his mention, was nothing more or less than a human being, but he was a man with a noble mission, which was to unite humanity on the worship of ONE and ONLY ONE GOD and to teach them the way to honest and upright living based on the commands of God. He always described himself as, 'A Slave and Messenger of God' and so indeed every action of his proclaimed to be.
Speaking on the aspect of equality before God in Islam, the famous poetess of India, Sarojini Naidu says:
"It was the first religion that preached and practiced democracy; for, in the mosque, when the call for prayer is sounded and worshippers are gathered together, the democracy of Islam is embodied five times a day when the peasant and king kneel side by side and proclaim: 'God Alone is Great'... I have been struck over and over again by this indivisible unity of Islam that makes man instinctively a brother."
(S. Naidu, Ideals of Islam, vide Speeches & Writings, Madras, 1918, p. 169)
In the words of Professor Hurgronje:
"The league of nations founded by the prophet of Islam put the principle of international unity and human brotherhood on such universal foundations as to show candle to other nations." He continues, "the fact is that no nation of the world can show a parallel to what Islam has done towards the realization of the idea of the League of Nations."
Edward Gibbon and Simon Ockley, on the profession of ISLAM, writes in "History of the Saracen Empires":
"I BELIEVE IN ONE GOD, AND MAHOMET, AN APOSTLE OF GOD' is the simple and invariable profession of Islam. The intellectual image of the Deity has never been degraded by any visible idol; the honor of the Prophet have never transgressed the measure of human virtues; and his living precepts have restrained the gratitude of his disciples within the bounds of reason and religion."
(History of the Saracen Empires, London, 1870, p. 54)
Wolfgang Goethe, perhaps the greatest European poet ever, wrote about Prophet Muhammad, may Allah exalt his mention. He said:
"He is a prophet and not a poet and therefore his Koran is to be seen as Divine Law and not as a book of a human being, made for education or entertainment."
(Noten und Abhandlungen zum Weststlichen Dvan, WA I, 7, 32)
People do not hesitate to raise to divinity and even make 'gods' out of other individuals whose lives and missions have been lost in legend. Historically speaking, none of these legends achieved even a fraction of what Muhammad, may Allah exalt his mention, accomplished. And all his striving was for the sole purpose of uniting mankind for the worship of One God on the codes of moral excellence. Muhammad, may Allah exalt his mention, or his followers never at any time claimed that he was a son of God or the God-incarnate or a man with divinity ? but he always was and is even today considered as only a Messenger chosen by God.
Today after a lapse of fourteen centuries, the life and teachings of Muhammad, may Allah exalt his mention, have survived without the slightest loss, alteration or interpolation. They offer the same undying hope for treating mankind's many ills, which they did when he was alive. This is not a claim of Muhammad?s, may Allah exalt his mention, followers, but the inescapable conclusion forced upon by a critical and unbiased history.

"And the (faithful) slaves of the Most Gracious (Allah) are those who walk on the earth in humility and sedateness, and when the foolish address them (with bad words) they reply back with mild words of gentleness."

S?rat Al-Furq?n
(The Criterion) XXV

In the Name of All?h,
the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

1. Blessed be He Who sent down the criterion (of right and wrong, i.e. this Qur?an) to His slave (Muhammad A?? AA??) that he may be a warner to the ??lam?n (mankind and jinn).

2. He to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and Who has begotten no son (children or offspring) and for Whom there is no partner in the dominion. He has created everything, and has measured it exactly according to its due measurements.

3. Yet they have taken besides Him other al?h?h (gods) who created nothing but are themselves created, and possess neither harm nor benefit for themselves, and possess no power (of causing) death, nor (of giving) life, nor of raising the dead.

4. Those who disbelieve say: "This (the Qur??n) is nothing but a lie that he (Muhammad ??? ???? ???? ????) has invented, and others have helped him at it. In fact they have produced an unjust wrong (thing) and a lie."

5. And they say: "Tales of the ancients, which he has written down: and they are dictated to him morning and afternoon."

6. Say: "It (this Qur??n) has been sent down by Him (All?h) (the Real Lord of the heavens and earth) Who knows the secret of the heavens and the earth. Truly, He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful."

7. And they say: "Why does this Messenger (Muhammad ??? ???? ???? ????) eat food, and walk about in the markets (as we). Why is not an angel sent down to him to be a warner with him?

8. "Or (why) has not a treasure been granted to him, or why has he not a garden whereof he may eat?" And the Z?lim?n (polytheists and wrong-doers) say: "You follow none but a man bewitched."

9. See how they coin similitudes for you, so they have gone astray, and they cannot find a (Right) Path.

10. Blessed be He Who, if He wills will assign you better than (all) that - Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise) and will assign you palaces (i.e. in Paradise).

11. Nay, they deny the Hour (the Day of Resurrection), and for those who deny the Hour, We have prepared a flaming Fire (i.e. Hell).

12. When it (Hell) sees them from a far place, they will hear its raging and its roaring.

13. And when they shall be thrown into a narrow place thereof, chained together, they will exclaim therein for destruction.

14. Exclaim not today for one destruction, but exclaim for many destructions.

15. Say: (O Muhammad ??? ???? ???? ????) "Is that (torment) better or the Paradise of Ete - nity which is promised to the Muttaq?n (the pious - See V.2:2)?" It will be theirs as a reward and as a final destination.

16. For them there will be therein all that they desire, and they will abide (there forever). It is a promise binding upon your Lord that must be fulfilled.

17. And on the Day when He will gather them together and that which they worship besides All?h [idols, angels, pious men, saints][1]. He will say: "Was it you who misled these My slaves or did they (themselves) stray from the (Right) Path?"

18. They will say: "Glorified be You! It was not for us to take any Auliy?? (Protectors, Helpers) besides You, but You gave them and their fathers comfort till they forgot the warning, and became a lost people (doomed to total loss).

19. Thus they (false gods - all deities other than All?h) will belie you (polytheists) regarding what you say (that they are gods besides All?h): then you can neither avert (the punishment), nor get help. And whoever among you does wrong (i.e. sets up rivals to All?h), We shall make him taste a great torment.

20. And We never sent before you (O Muhammad ??? ???? ???? ????) any of the Messengers but verily, they ate food and walked in the markets. And We have made some of you as a trial for others: will you have patience? And your Lord is Ever All-Seer (of everything).

21. And those who expect not a Meeting with Us (i.e. those who deny the Day of Resurrection and the life of the Hereafter) said: "Why are not the angels sent down to us, or why do we not see our Lord?" Indeed they think too highly of themselves, and are scornful with great pride.[1]

22. On the Day they will see the angels - no glad tidings will there be for the Mujrim?n (criminals, disbelievers, polytheists, sinners) that day. And they (angels) will say: "All kinds of glad tidings are forbidden to you," [none will be allowed to enter Paradise except the one who said: L? il?ha illall?h, "(none has the right to be worshipped but All?h) and acted practically on its legal orders and obligations. See the footnote of V.2:193)].

23. And We shall turn to whatever deeds they (disbelievers, polytheists, sinners) did, and We shall make such deeds as scattered floating particles of dust.

24. The dwellers of Paradise (i.e. those who deserved it through their Islamic Monotheistic Faith and their deeds of righteousness) will, on that Day, have the best abode, and have the fairest of places for repose.

25. And (remember) the Day when the heaven shall be rent asunder with clouds, and the angels will be sent down, with a grand descending.

26. The sovereignty on that Day will be the true (sovereignty), belonging to the Most Gracious (All?h), and it will be a hard Day for the disbelievers (those who disbelieve in the Oneness of All?h - Isl?mic Monotheism).

27. And (remember) the Day when the Z?lim (wrong-doer, oppressor, polytheist) will bite at his hands, he will say: "Oh! Would that I had taken a path with the Messenger (Muhammad ??? ???? ???? ????).[2]

28. "Ah! Woe to me! Would that I had never taken so-and-so as a Khal?l (an intimate friend)!

29. "He indeed led me astray from the Reminder (this Qur??n) after it had come to me. And Shait?n (Satan) is to man ever a deserter in the hour of need." [Tafsir Al-Qurtubi]

30. And the Messenger (Muhammad ??? ???? ???? ????) will say: "O my Lord! Verily, my people deserted this Qur??n (neither listened to it, nor acted on its laws and teachings).

31. Thus have We made for every Prophet an enemy among the Mujrim?n (disbelievers, polytheists, criminals). But Sufficient is your Lord as a Guide and Helper.

32. And those who disbelieve say: "Why is not the Qur??n revealed to him all at once?" Thus (it is sent down in parts), that We may strengthen your heart thereby. And We have revealed it to you gradually, in stages. (It was revealed to the Prophet ??? ???? ???? ???? in 23 years.).

33. And no example or similitude do they bring (to oppose or to find fault in you or in this Qur??n), but We reveal to you the truth (against that similitude or example), and the better explanation thereof.

34. Those who will be gathered to Hell (prone) on their faces, such will be in an evil state, and most astray from the (Straight) Path.[1]

35. And indeed We gave M?s? (Moses) the Scripture [the Taur?t (Torah)], and placed his brother H?r?n (Aaron) with him as a helper;

36. And We said: "Go you both to the people who have denied Our Ay?t (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.)." Then We destroyed them with utter destruction.

37. And N?h?s (Noah) people, when they denied the Messengers, We drowned them, and We made them as a sign for mankind. And We have prepared a painful torment for the Z?lim?n (polytheists and wrong-doers).

38. And (also) ??d and Tham?d, and the Dwellers of Ar-Rass, and many generations in between.

39. And for each (of them) We put forward examples (as proofs and lessons), and each (of them) We brought to utter ruin (because of their disbelief and evil deeds).

40. And indeed they have passed by the town [of Prophet L?t (Lot)] on which was rained the evil rain. Did they (disbelievers) not then see it (with their own eyes)? Nay! But they used not to expect any resurrection.

41. And when they see you (O Muhammad ??? ???? ???? ????), they treat you only in mockery (saying): "Is this the one whom All?h has sent as a Messenger?

42. "He would have nearly misled us from our ?lihah (gods), had it not been that we were patient and constant in their worship!" And they will know when they see the torment, who it is that is most astray from the (Right) Path!

43. Have you (O Muhammad ??? ???? ???? ????) seen him who has taken as his il?h (god) his own vain desire? Would you then be a Wak?l (a disposer of his affairs or a watcher) over him?

44. Or do you think that most of them hear or understand? They are only like cattle - nay, they are even farther astray from the Path (i.e. even worse than cattle).

45. Have you not seen how your Lord spread the shadow. If He willed, He could have made it still - But We have made the sun its guide (i.e. after the sunrise, the shadow shrinks and vanishes at midnoon and then again appears in the afternoon with the decline of the sun, and had there been no sunlight, there would have been no shadow).

46. Then We withdraw it to Us a gradual concealed withdrawal.

47. And it is He Who makes the night a covering for you, and the sleep (as) a repose, and makes the day Nush?r (i.e. getting up and going about here and there for daily work, after one?s sleep at night, or like resurrection after one?s death).

48. And it is He Who sends the winds as heralds of glad tidings, going before His Mercy (rain); and We send down pure water from the sky.

49. That We may give life thereby to a dead land, and We give to drink thereof many of the cattle and men that We had created.

50. And indeed We have distributed it (rain or water) amongst them in order that they may remember (the Grace of All?h,) but most men (refuse to accept the Truth or Faith and) accept nothing but disbelief or ingratitude.

51. And had We willed, We would have raised a warner in every town.

52. So obey not the disbelievers, but strive against them (by preaching) with the utmost endeavour with it (the Qur??n).

53. And it is He Who has let free the two seas (kinds of water): this is palatable and sweet, and that is salt and bitter; and He has set a barrier and a complete partition between them.

54. And it is He Who has created man from water, and has appointed for him kindred by blood, and kindred by marriage. And your Lord is Ever All-Powerful to do what He wills.

55. And they (disbelievers, polytheists) worship besides All?h that which can neither profit them nor harm them; and the disbeliever is ever a helper (of the Satan) against his Lord.

56. And We have sent you (O Muhammad ??? ???? ???? ????) only as a bearer of glad tidings and a warner.

57. Say: "No reward do I ask of you for this (that which I have brought from my Lord and its preaching), save that whosoever wills may take a Path to his Lord.

58. And put your trust (O Muhammad ??? ???? ???? ????) in the Ever Living One Who dies not, and glorify His Praises, and Sufficient is He as the All-Knower of the sins of His slaves,

59. Who created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them in six Days. Then He (Istaw? ) rose over the Throne (in a manner that suits His Majesty). The Most Gracious (All?h)! Ask Him (O Prophet Muhammad ??? ???? ???? ???? , concerning His Qualities: His rising over His Throne, His creations, etc.), as He is Al-Khab?r (The All-Knower of everything i.e. All?h).

60. And when it is said to them: "Prostrate yourselves to the Most Gracious (All?h)! they say: "And what is the Most Gracious? Shall we fall down in prostration to that which you (O Muhammad ??? ???? ???? ????) command us?" And it increases in them only aversion.

61. Blessed be He Who has placed in the heaven big stars, and has placed therein a great lamp (sun), and a moon giving light.

62. And He it is Who has put the night and the day in succession, for such who desires to remember or desires to show his gratitude.

63. And the (faithful) slaves of the Most Gracious (All?h) are those who walk on the earth in humility and sedateness, and when the foolish address them (with bad words) they reply back with mild words of gentleness.

64. And those who spend the night in worship of their Lord, prostrate and standing.[1]

65. And those who say: "Our Lord! Avert from us the torment of Hell. Verily its torment is ever an inseparable, permanent punishment."

66. Evil indeed it (Hell) is as an abode and as a place to rest in.

67. And those who, when they spend, are neither extravagant nor niggardly, but hold a medium (way) between those (extremes).

68. And those who invoke not any other il?h (god) along with All?h, nor kill such person as All?h has forbidden, except for just cause, nor commit illegal sexual intercourse - and whoever does this shall receive the punishment.[1]

69. The torment will be doubled to him on the Day of Resurrection, and he will abide therein in disgrace;

70. Except those who repent and believe (in Isl?mic Monotheism), and do righteous deeds; for those, All?h will change their sins into good deeds, and All?h is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.[2]

71. And whosoever repents and does righteous good deeds; then verily, he repents towards All?h with true repentance.

72. And those who do not bear witness to falsehood, and if they pass by some evil play or evil talk, they pass by it with dignity.

73. And those who, when they are reminded of the Ay?t (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of their Lord, fall not deaf and blind thereat.

74. And those who say: "Our Lord! Bestow on us from our wives and our offspring the comfort of our eyes, and make us leaders of the Muttaq?n(the pious. See V.2:2)."

75. Those will be rewarded with the highest place (in Paradise) because of their patience. Therein they shall be met with greetings and the word of peace and respect.

76. Abiding therein - excellent it is as an abode, and as a place to rest in.

77. Say (O Muhammad ??? ???? ???? ???? to the disbelievers): "My Lord pays attention to you only because of your invocation to Him. But now you have indeed denied (Him). So the torment will be yours for ever (inseparable, permanent punishment)."

S?rat Ash-Shu?ar?
(The Poets) XXVI

In the Name of All?h,
the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

1. T?-S?n-M?m.
[These letters are one of the miracles of the Qur??n, and none but All?h (Alone) knows their meanings.]

2. These are the Verses of the manifest Book [(this Qur??n), which was promised by All?h in the Taur?t (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel), makes things clear].

3. It may be that you (O Muhammad ??? ???? ???? ????) are going to kill yourself with grief, that they do not become believers [in your Risalah (Messengership) i.e. in your Message of Isl?mic Monotheism].[1]

4. If We will, We could send down to them from the heaven a sign, to which they would bend their necks in humility.

5. And never comes there unto them a Reminder as a recent revelation from the Most Gracious (All?h), but they turn away therefrom.

6. So they have indeed denied (the truth - this Qur??n), then the news of what they mocked at will come to them.

7. Do they not observe the earth - how much of every good kind We cause to grow therein?

8. Verily, in this is an Ay?h (proof or sign), yet most of them (polytheists, pagans who do not believe in Resurrection) are not believers.

9. And verily your Lord, He is truly the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful.

10. And (remember) when your Lord called M?s? (Moses) (saying): "Go to the people who are Z?lim?n (polytheists and wrong-doers) -

11. "The people of Fir?aun (Pharaoh): Will they not fear All?h and become righteous?"

12. He said: "My Lord! Verily, I fear that they will belie me,

13. "And my breast straitens, and my tongue expresses not well. So send for H?r?n (Aaron) (to come along with me).

14. "And they have a charge of crime against me, and I fear they will kill me."

15. (All?h) said: "Nay! Go you both with Our Signs. Verily We shall be with you, listening.

16. "And go both of you to Fir?aun (Pharaoh), and say: ?We are the Messengers of the Lord of the ??lam?n (mankind, jinn and all that exists),

17. "So allow the Children of Israel to go with us.? "

18. [Fir?aun (Pharaoh)] said [to M?s? (Moses)]: "Did we not bring you up among us as a child? And you did dwell many years of your life with us.

19. "And you did your deed, which you did (i.e. the crime of killing a man) while you were one of the ingrates."

20. M?s? (Moses) said: "I did it then, when I was ignorant (as regards my Lord and His Message).

21. "So I fled from you when I feared you. But my Lord has granted me Hukm (i.e. religious knowledge, right judgement of the affairs and Prophethood), and made me one of the Messengers.

22. "And this is the past favour with which you reproach me: that you have enslaved the Children of Israel."

23. Fir?aun (Pharaoh) said: "And what is the Lord of the ??lam?n (mankind, jinn and all that exists)?"

24. [M?s? (Moses)] said: "The Lord of the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them, if you seek to be convinced with certainty."

25. [Fir?aun (Pharaoh)] said to those around: "Do you not hear (what he says)?"

26. [M?s? (Moses)] said: "Your Lord and the Lord of your ancient fathers!"

27. [Fir?aun (Pharaoh)] said: "Verily, your Messenger who has been sent to you is a madman!"

28. [M?s? (Moses)] said: "Lord of the east and the west, and all that is between them, if you did but understand!"

29. [Fir?aun (Pharaoh)] said: "If you choose an il?h (god) other than me, I will certainly put you among the prisoners."

30. [M?s? (Moses)] said: "Even if I bring you something manifest (and convincing)?"

31. [Fir?aun (Pharaoh)] said: "Bring it forth then, if you are of the truthful!"

32. So [M?s? (Moses)] threw his stick, and behold, it was a serpent, manifest.

33. And he drew out his hand, and behold, it was white to all beholders!

34. [Fir?aun (Pharaoh)] said to the chiefs around him: "Verily! This is indeed a well-versed sorcerer.

35. "He wants to drive you out of your land by his sorcery: what is it then that you command?"

36. They said: "Put him off and his brother (for a while), and send callers to the cities;

37. "To bring up to you every well-versed sorcerer."

38. So the sorcerers were assembled at a fixed time on a day appointed.

39. And it was said to the people: "Are you (too) going to assemble?

40. "That we may follow the sorcerers [who were on Fir?aun?s (Pharaoh) religion of disbelief] if they are the winners."

41. So when the sorcerers arrived, they said to Fir?aun (Pharaoh): "Will there surely be a reward for us if we are the winners?"

42. He said: "Yes, and you shall then verily be of those brought near (to myself)."

43. M?s? (Moses) said to them: "Throw what you are going to throw!"

44. So they threw their ropes and their sticks, and said: "By the might of Fir?aun (Pharaoh), it is we who will certainly win!"

45. Then M?s? (Moses) threw his stick, and behold, it swallowed up all that they falsely showed!

46. And the sorcerers fell down prostrate.

47. Saying: "We believe in the Lord of the ??lam?n (mankind, jinn and all that exists).

48. "The Lord of M?s? (Moses) and H?r?n (Aaron)."

49. [Fir?aun (Pharaoh)] said: "You have believed in him before I give you leave. Surely, he indeed is your chief, who has taught you magic! So verily, you shall come to know. Verily, I will cut off your hands and your feet on opposite sides, and I will crucify you all."

50. They said: "No harm! Surely, to our Lord (All?h) we are to return.

51. "Verily we really hope that our Lord will forgive us our sins, as we are the first of the believers [in M?s? (Moses) and in the Monotheism which he has brought from All?h]."

52. And We revealed to M?s? (Moses), saying: "Depart by night with My slaves, verily you will be pursued."

53. Then Fir?aun (Pharaoh) sent callers to (all) the cities.

54. (Saying): "Verily these indeed are but a small band.

55. "And verily, they have done what has enraged us.

56. "But we are a host all assembled, amply fore-warned."

57. So, We expelled them from gardens and springs,

58. Treasures, and every kind of honourable place.

59. Thus [We turned them (Pharaoh?s people) out] and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them.

60. So they pursued them at sunrise.

61. And when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of M?s? (Moses) said: "We are sure to be overtaken."

62. [M?s? (Moses)] said: "Nay, verily with me is my Lord. He will guide me."

63. Then We revealed to M?s? (Moses) (saying): "Strike the sea with your stick." And it parted, and each separate part (of that sea water) became like huge mountain.

64. Then We brought near the others [Fir?aun?s (Pharaoh) party] to that place.

65. And We saved M?s? (Moses) and all those with him.

66. Then We drowned the others.

67. Verily in this is indeed a sign (or a proof), yet most of them are not believers.

68. And verily your Lord, He is truly the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful.

69. And recite to them the story of Ibr?h?m (Abraham).

70. When he said to his father and his people: "What do you worship?"

71. They said: "We worship idols, and to them we are ever devoted."

72. He said: "Do they hear you, when you call on (them)?

73. "Or do they benefit you or do they harm (you)?"

74. They said: "(Nay) but we found our fathers doing so."

75. He said: "Do you observe that which you have been worshipping -

76. "You and your ancient fathers?

77. "Verily they are enemies to me, save the Lord of the ??lam?n (mankind, jinn and all that exists),

78. "Who has created me, and it is He Who guides me.

79. "And it is He Who feeds me and gives me to drink.

80. "And when I am ill, it is He who cures me.

81. "And Who will cause me to die, and then will bring me to life (again).

82. "And Who, I hope, will forgive me my faults on the Day of Recompense, (the Day of Resurrection).

83. My Lord! Bestow Hukm (religious knowledge, right judgement of the affairs and Prophethood) on me, and join me with the righteous.

84. And grant me an honourable mention in later generations.

85. And make me one of the inheritors of the Paradise of Delight.

86. And forgive my father, verily he is of the erring.

87. And disgrace me not on the Day when (all the creatures) will be resurrected.

88. The Day whereon neither wealth nor sons will avail,

89. Except him who brings to All?h a clean heart [clean from Shirk (polytheism) and Nif?q (hypocrisy)]."

90. And Paradise will be brought near to the Muttaq?n (the pious - See V.2:2).

91. And the (Hell) Fire will be placed in full view of the erring.

92. And it will be said to them: "Where are those (the false gods whom you used to set up as rivals with All?h) that you used to worship.

93. "Instead of All?h? Can they help you or (even) help themselves?"

94. Then they will be thrown on their faces into the (Fire), they and the Gh?w?n (devils, and those who were in error).

95. And the whole hosts of Ibl?s (Satan) together.

96. They will say while contending therein,

97. By All?h, we were truly in a manifest error,

98. When We held you (false gods) as equals (in worship) with the Lord of the ??lam?n (mankind, jinn and all that exists);

99. And none has brought us into error except the Mujrim?n [Ibl?s (Satan) and those of human beings who commit crimes, murderers, polytheists, oppressors].

100. Now we have no intercessors,

101. Nor a close friend (to help us).

102. (Alas!) If we only had a chance to return (to the world), we shall truly be among the believers!

103. Verily in this is indeed a sign, yet most of them are not believers.

104. And verily, your Lord, He is truly the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful.

105. The people of N?h (Noah) belied the Messengers.

106. When their brother N?h (Noah) said to them: "Will you not fear All?h and obey Him?

107. "I am a trustworthy Messenger to you.

108. "So fear All?h, keep your duty to Him, and obey me.

109. "No reward do I ask of you for it (my Message of Isl?mic Monotheism); my reward is only from the Lord of the ??lam?n (mankind, jinn and all that exists).

110. "So keep your duty to All?h, fear Him and obey me."

111. They said: "Shall we believe in you, when the meanest (of the people) follow you?"

112. He said: "And what knowledge have I of what they used to do?

113. "Their account is only with my Lord, if you could (but) know.

114. "And I am not going to drive away the believers.

115. I am only a plain warner."

116. They said: "If you cease not, O N?h (Noah) you will surely be among those stoned (to death)."

117. He said: "My Lord! Verily, my people have belied me.

118. Therefore judge You between me and them, and save me and those of the believers who are with me."

119. And We saved him and those with him in the laden ship.

120. Then We drowned the rest (disbelievers) thereafter.

121. Verily, in this is indeed a sign, yet most of them are not believers.

122. And verily your Lord, He is indeed the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful.

123. ??d (people) belied the Messengers.

124. When their brother H?d said to them: "Will you not fear All?h and obey Him?

125. "Verily I am a trustworthy Messenger to you.

126. "So fear All?h, keep your duty to Him, and obey me.

127. "No reward do I ask of you for it (my Message of Isl?mic Monotheism); my reward is only from the Lord of the ??lam?n (mankind, jinn, and all that exists).

128. "Do you build high palaces on every high place, while you do not live in them?

129. "And do you get for yourselves palaces (fine buildings) as if you will live therein for ever.[1]

130. "And when you seize (somebody), seize you (him) as tyrants?

131. "So fear All?h, keep your duty to Him, and obey me.

132. "And keep your duty to Him, fear Him Who has aided you with all (good things) that you know.

133. "He has aided you with cattle and children.

134. "And gardens and springs.

135. "Verily, I fear for you the torment of a Great Day."

136. They said: "It is the same to us whether you preach or be not of those who preach.

137. "This is no other than the false tales and religion of the ancients, [Tafsir At-Tabar?]

138. "And we are not going to be punished."

139. So they belied him, and We destroyed them. Verily in this is indeed a sign, yet most of them are not believers.

140. And verily your Lord, He is indeed the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful.

141. Tham?d (people) belied the Messengers.

142. When their brother S?lih said to them: "Will you not fear All?h and obey Him?

143. "I am a trustworthy Messenger to you.

144. "So fear All?h, keep your duty to Him, and obey me.

145. "No reward do I ask of you for it (my Message of Isl?mic Monotheism); my reward is only from the Lord of the ??lam?n (mankind, jinn and all that exists).

146. "Will you be left secure in that which you have here?

147. "In gardens and springs.

148. And green crops (fields) and date-palms with soft spadix.

149. "And you hew out in the mountains, houses with great skill.

150. "So fear All?h, keep your duty to Him, and obey me.

151. "And follow not the command of Al-Musrif?n [i.e. their chiefs: leaders who were polytheists, criminals and sinners],

152. "Who make mischief in the land, and reform not."

153. They said: "You are only of those bewitched!

154. "You are but a human being like us. Then bring us a sign if you are of the truthful."

155. He said: "Here is a she-camel: it has a right to drink (water), and you have a right to drink (water) (each) on a day, known.

156. "And touch her not with harm, lest the torment of a Great Day should seize you."

157. But they killed her, and then they became regretful.

158. So the torment overtook them. Verily, in this is indeed a sign, yet most of them are not believers.

159. And verily your Lord, He is indeed the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful.

160. The people of L?t (Lot) (-who dwelt in the town of Sodom in Palestine) belied the Messengers.

161. When their brother L?t (Lot) said to them: "Will you not fear All?h and obey Him?

162. "Verily I am a trustworthy Messenger to you.

163. "So fear All?h, keep your duty to Him, and obey me.

164. "No reward do I ask of you for it (my Message of Isl?mic Monotheism); my reward is only from the Lord of the ??lam?n (mankind, jinn and all that exists).

165. "Go you in unto the males of the ??lam?n (mankind),

166. "And leave those whom All?h has created for you to be your wives? Nay, you are a trespassing people!"

167. They said: "If you cease not O L?t (Lot)! verily, you will be one of those who are driven out!"

168. He said: "I am, indeed, of those who disapprove with severe anger and fury your (this evil) action (of sodomy).

169. "My Lord! Save me and my family from what they do."

170. So We saved him and his family, all,

171. Except an old woman (his wife) among those who remained behind.

172. Then afterward We destroyed the others.

173. And We rained on them a rain (of torment). And how evil was the rain of those who had been warned!

174. Verily, in this is indeed a sign, yet most of them are not believers.

175. And verily your Lord, He is indeed the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful.

176. The dwellers of Al-Aikah [near Madyan (Midian)] belied the Messengers.

177. When Shu?aib said to them: "Will you not fear All?h (and obey Him)?

178. "I am a trustworthy Messenger to you.

179. "So fear All?h, keep your duty to Him, and obey me.

180. "No reward do I ask of you for it (my Message of Isl?mic Monotheism); my reward is only from the Lord of the ??lam?n (mankind, jinn and all that exists).

181. "Give full measure, and cause no loss (to others).

182. "And weigh with the true and straight balance.

183. "And defraud not people by reducing their things, nor do evil, making corruption and mischief in the land.

184. "And fear Him Who created you and the generations of the men of old."

185. They said: "You are only one of those bewitched!

186. "You are but a human being like us and verily, we think that you are one of the liars!

187. "So cause a piece of the heaven to fall on us, if you are of the truthful!"

188. He said: "My Lord is the Best Knower of what you do."

189. But they belied him, so the torment of the day of shadow (a gloomy cloud) seized them. Indeed that was the torment of a Great Day.

190. Verily, in this is indeed a sign, yet most of them are not believers.

191. And verily your Lord, He is indeed the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful.

192. And truly, this (the Qur??n) is a revelation from the Lord of the ??lam?n (mankind, jinn and all that exists),

193. Which the trustworthy R?h [Jibr?l (Gabriel)] has brought down

194. Upon your heart (O Muhammad ??? ???? ???? ????) that you may be (one) of the warners,

195. In the plain Arabic language.

196. And verily, it (the Qur??n, and its revelation to Prophet Muhammad ??? ???? ???? ????) is (announced) in the Scriptures [i.e. the Taur?t (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)] of former people.

197. Is it not a sign to them that the learned scholars (like ?Abdull?h bin Sal?m ??? ???? ??? who embraced Isl?m)[1] of the Children of Israel knew it (as true)?

198. And if We had revealed it (this Qur??n) unto any of the non-Arabs,

199. And he had recited it unto them, they would not have believed in it.

200. Thus have We caused it (the denial of the Qur??n) to enter the hearts of the M?jrim?n (criminals, polytheists, sinners).

201. They will not believe in it until they see the painful torment.

202. It shall come to them of a sudden, while they perceive it not.

203. Then they will say: "Can we be respited?"

204. Would they then wish for Our Torment to be hastened on?

205. Tell Me, (even) if We do let them enjoy for years,

206. And afterwards comes to them that (punishment) which they had been promised,

207. All that with which they used to enjoy shall not avail them.

208. And never did We destroy a township but it had its warners

209. By way of reminder, and We have never been unjust.

210. And it is not the Shay?t?n (devils) who have brought it (this Qur??n) down.

211. Neither would it suit them, nor they can (produce it).

212. Verily, they have been removed far from hearing it.

213. So invoke not with All?h another il?h (god) lest you should be among those who receive punishment.

214. And warn your tribe (O Muhammad ??? ???? ???? ????) of near kindred.[1]

215. And be kind and humble to the believers who follow you.

216. Then if they disobey you, say: "I am innocent of what you do."

217. And put your trust in the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful,

218. Who sees you (O Muhammad ??? ???? ???? ????) when you stand up (alone at night for Tahajjud prayers).

219. And your movements among those who fall prostrate (to All?h in the five compulsory congregational prayers).

220. Verily He, only He, is the All-Hearer, the All-Knower.

221. Shall I inform you (O people!) upon whom the Shay?t?n (devils) descend?

222. They descend on every lying, sinful person.

223. Who gives ear (to the devils and they pour what they may have heard of the Unseen from the angels), and most of them are liars.

224. As for the poets, the erring ones follow them,

225. See you not that they speak about every subject (praising people - right or wrong) in their poetry?

226. And that they say what they do not do.

227. Except those who believe (in the Oneness of All?h - Isl?mic Monotheism) and do righteous deeds, and remember All?h much, and vindicate themselves after they have been wronged [by replying back in poetry to the unjust poetry (which the pagan poets utter against the Muslims)]. And those who do wrong will come to know by what overturning they will be overturned.

The same false claims over and over. To understand Surah Al-Tawbah you must read it carefully, and in ARABIC: There you go, this is the true meaning:
"Once the Sacred Months are past, you may kill the idol worshipers when you encounter them, punish them, and resist every move they make. If they repent and observe the Contact Prayers (Salat) and give the obligatory charity (Zakat), you shall let them go. GOD is Forgiver, Most Merciful." 9:5

Due to the profound effect of the corrupt interpretation of the so-called 'Verse of the Sword', this case will be presented in more detail.

Due to the corrupt interpretation of this verse, we find that it has been largely used by the enemies of the Quran to claim that the Quran advocates the killing of all the infidels wherever and whenever they are encountered. Because of that, they have reduced Islam to being la belled 'the religion of the sword'!

On the other hand, the corrupt Muslim scholars have also misinterpreted the meaning of this verse. As a result they claim that this sole verse ( 9:5 ) has abrogated specific phrases and Quranic laws in no less than 114 Quranic verses !

Yes they claim with all audacity that divine Quranic revelation in no less than 114 Quranic verses have been abrogated by one single verse!!!!

They commit this sinister crime despite God's clear confirmation that no words of the Quran are abrogated:

6:115

"The word of your Lord is complete, in truth and justice. NOTHING SHALL ABROGATE HIS WORDS."

________

The corrupt Muslim scholars claim that this verse makes it the lawful duty of Muslims to kill the idol worshippers anytime, as long as it is outside the sacred months, if they do not repent and observe the Contact Prayers and charity!

It is also their claim that since Sura 9, where this verse appears, was the penultimate Sura in the order of revelation, then if any of its laws contradicts laws in previous Sura's then the law in Sura 9 abrogates the law of the earlier Sura's.

Their ignorance is manifest not in the issue of the sequence of the revelations, but in the fact that the claimed contradiction between 9:5 and any other Quranic revelation is in fact non existent !

Abrogated:

They claim that specific words in 114 verses, and often whole verses are abrogated ! These 114 verses appear in 50 Sura's.

As numerous claimed words are repeated in more than one verse, the following are the unrepeated cases of such claimed abrogations (100 verses):

2:256 / 3:20 / 3:159 / 4:63 / 4:80 / 4:81 / 4:84 / 4:88 / 4:90 / 4:91 / 5:3 / 5:13 / 5:99 / 6:91 / 6:106 / 6:107/ 6:108 / 6:112 / 6:135 / 6:137 / 6:159 / 7:180 / 7:199 / 8:38 / 8:61 / 10:41 / 10:99 / 10:102 / 10:108 / 11:121 / 11:122 / 13:40 / 15:3 / 15:85 / 15:88 / 15:94 / 16:82 / 16:106 / 16:127 / 17:15 /17:54 / 18:29 / 19:39 / 19:75 / 19:84 / 20:130 / 20:135 / 21:56 / 23:54 / 23:96 / 24:54 / 25:63 / 27:92 / 28:55 / 29:46 / 32:30 / 33:48 / 34:25 / 35:23 / 37:174 / 37:175 / 37:178 / 37:179 / 38:70 / 38:88 / 39:3 / 39:15 / 39:22 / 39:36 / 39:39 / 39:46 / 40:55 / 40:77 / 41:34 / 42:6 / 42:15 / 42:48 / 43:83 / 43:89 / 44:59 / 45:14 / 46:35 / 50:39 / 52:48 / 53:29 / 60:11 / 68:44 / 68:48 / 70:42 / 73:10 / 73:11 / 73:19 / 74:11 / 76:24 / 76:29 / 86:17 / 88:21 / 88:22/ 95:8 / 109:6 /

Each one of these Quranic revelations is a testimony to the magnitude of the horrendous crime. Each one of these verses utters God's divine words "NOTHING SHALL ABROGATE HIS WORDS".

Any reader with an unbiased intellect will immediately wonder how can God reveal 114 Quranic revelations, then change his mind and invalidate all of them with one single verse???? That does not say much for God's consistency, does it ? Such is the magnitude of the insult they directed at Almighty God !

The truth is that non of these verses have ever been abrogated, this abrogation invention is utterly and categorically false.

To demonstrate the truth of this matter, it is essential first to present the genuine meaning of 9:5. To do so it is essential to read the first 5 verses of Surah 9.

Surah 9

VERSE 1

"Freedom from obligation (or ultimatum) is herein issued from GOD and His messenger to the idol worshipers with whom you have entered into a treaty with."

VERSE 2

"Therefore, roam the earth freely for four months, and know that you cannot escape from GOD, and that GOD humiliates the disbelievers."

VERSE 3

"A proclamation is herein issued from GOD and His messenger to all the people on the great day of pilgrimage, that GOD has disowned the idol worshipers, and so did His messenger. Thus, if you repent, it would be better for you. But if you turn away, then know that you can never escape from GOD. Promise those who disbelieve a painful retribution."

VERSE 4

"If the idol worshipers sign a peace treaty with you, and do not violate it, nor band together with others against you, you shall fulfil your treaty with them until the expiration date. GOD loves the righteous."

VERSE 5

"Once the Sacred Months are past, (and they refuse to make peace) you may kill the idol worshipers when you encounter them, punish them, and resist every move they make. If they repent and observe the Contact Prayers (Salat) and give the obligatory charity (Zakat), you shall let them go. GOD is Forgiver, Most Merciful."

After reading the five verses together the following matters becomes apparent:

1- Verse 5 speaks of the idol worshippers who are AT WAR with the believers and not any idol worshippers. The words : "the idol worshipers with whom you have entered into a treaty with" in verse 1 confirms that matter since no treaty is entered into unless there is a war situation?..

2- In verse 2 God address's the idol worshippers and tells them that they may roam freely during the four sacred months (since the believers are prohibited from fighting in these months), but that at the end they will not escape from God.

3- In verse 4 it is once again confirmed that the believers are not to attack the idol worshippers who have signed a treaty with them and who do not violate it.

4- Following that, in verse 5 God says that when the sacred months have passed the believers are to fight the idol worshippers.

5- The content of verse 4 (that believers are not to fight idol worshippers who uphold the terms of a treaty) confirms the real meaning of verse 5; the believers are commanded to fight the idol worshippers (outside the sacred months) only at times of war, or when the idol worshippers violate the terms of a treaty (also in a state of war).

This meaning is again confirmed in verse 7 with the words:

"Exempted are those who have signed a peace treaty with you at the Sacred Masjid. If they honour and uphold such a treaty, you shall uphold it as well. GOD loves the righteous."

In spite of all these indications in the first seven verses of Sura 9 that assert that the fighting may only be directed to the idol worshippers in a state of war, and with those who violate the terms of a peace treaty, yet the abrogation inventors have ignored all the mention of the word 'treaty' in these verses and its profound significance.

They made it lawful for any Muslim to kill the idol worshippers at any time (war or no war) as long as it is outside the sacred months!!

No wonder the enemies of the Quran call Islam the religion of the sword !!!

6- Furthermore, and as will be detailed later, we are told all throughout the Quran that God prohibits the believers from fighting those who offer peace, such as :

" .......... IF THEY LEAVE YOU ALONE, REFRAIN FROM FIGHTING YOU, AND OFFER YOU PEACE, THEN GOD GIVES YOU NO EXCUSE TO FIGHT THEM." 4:90

But the content of this verse, along with 113 other verses was completely obliterated by the corrupt interpreters as will be detailed later.

-----------------

To analyse the effect of this corrupt interpretation on obliterating the glorious meaning of Quranic revelations found in 114 Quranic verses, we can examine a sample of these verses and realise the extent of this crime. The following examples have been classified into five groups:

1- Revelations that confirm that there is no compulsion in religion. The messenger (and all believers) are to report and warn with the Quran, but never to forcefully enforce Submission.

2- Revelations that prohibit fighting those who offer peace.

3- Revelations that advocate the call to Islam through sound advice, good reasoning and with the wisdom of the Quran, and not through chopping heads off !

4- Revelations that advocate Mercy and Forgiveness towards the disbelievers and hypocrites.

5- Revelations that assert that the punishment for idol worshippers and atheists lies with God and not with man.

FIRST-

Revelations that confirm that there is no compulsion in religion. The messenger (and all believers) are to report and warn with the Quran, but never to forcefully enforce Submission:

1- "If they argue with you, then say, "I have simply submitted myself to God; I and those who follow me. "You shall proclaim to those who received the scripture, as well as those who did not, "Would you submit?" If they submit, then they have been guided, BUT IF THEY TURN AWAY, YOUR SOLE MISSION IS TO DELIVER THIS MESSAGE. God is Seer of all people." 3:20

We read a clear message in this verse that the messenger's duty is only to deliver the message from God, and invite the people to submit. If they submit then they have been guided and if they choose to reject it then the messenger is to leave them alone.

But no! According to the corrupt ignorant scholars, the verse of the sword abrogates these Quranic words and dictates that if they reject the message their heads should be struck off !!! What ignorance !

2- This message is confirmed in numerous other verses such as :

"The sole duty of the messenger is to deliver the message, and GOD knows everything you declare and everything you conceal." 5:99

3- "THERE SHALL BE NO COMPULSION IN RELIGION: the right way is now distinct from the wrong way. Anyone who denounces the devil and believes in GOD has grasped the strongest bond; one that never breaks. GOD is Hearer, Omniscient." 2:256

According to the notorious ideology of the sword, the corrupt interpreters granted the Muslims the right to compel the infidels by means of the sword to accept Islam! This is yet a further crime against the wisdom and truth of the Quran, as presented in this verse.

4- "Follow what is revealed to you from your Lord, there is no god except He, and DISREGARD THE IDOL WORSHIPERS. Had GOD willed, they would not have worshiped idols. WE DID NOT APPOINT YOU AS THEIR GUARDIAN, NOR ARE YOU THEIR ADVOCATE." 6:106-107

Once again the command here is clear from God to the prophet, and that is to disregard the idol worshipers. God asserts that the prophet is only to report and warn. The prophet is not appointed their guardian nor advocate.

5- The same message is given to disregard even those who distort God's image or beautiful attributes:

"To GOD belongs the most beautiful names; call upon Him therewith, and DISREGARD THOSE WHO DISTORT HIS NAMES. They will be requited for their sins." 7:18O

It is important here to note that God asserts that the punishment for those who distort God's image lies with God. They are not to be punished by people.

6- "O people, the truth has come to you herein from your Lord. Whoever is guided is guided for his own good. And whoever goes astray, goes astray to his own detriment. I AM NOT A GUARDIAN OVER YOU." 10:108

7- "Therefore, carry out the orders given to you, and DISREGARD THE IDOL WORSHIPPERS." 15:94

The command here is very clear ............ it is not to chop off the heads of the idol worshippers but to disregard them and leave them alone.

8- "Say, "Obey GOD, and obey the messenger." If they refuse, then he is responsible for his obligations, and you are responsible for your obligations. If you obey him, you will be guided. THE SOLE DUTY OF THE MESSENGER IS TO DELIVER (THE MESSAGE)." 24:54

9- "Say, "GOD is the only One I worship, devoting my religion absolutely to Him alone. "THEREFORE, GO ON AND WORSHIP WHATEVER YOU WISH BESIDES HIM (GOD)." Say, "The real losers are those who LOSE THEIR SOULS, and their families, ON THE DAY OF RESURRECTION." Most certainly, this is the real loss." 39:14-15

Once again the command here is to leave the idol worshippers to worship whoever or whatever they wish, and that their punishment is not on the hands of the believers, but with God on the Day of Resurrection. Once again, these Quranic words are a sharp contrast to the corrupt notion of chopping the heads off !

10- "YOU HAVE YOUR RELIGION, AND I HAVE MINE." 109:6

This verse outlines the words that the messenger (and all believers) must direct at the disbelievers who reject Islam. In other words, the believers are simply to say to the disbelievers 'you go on and follow what religion you wish to follow, and I will follow my religion'. Once again the confirmation that there is no compulsion in religion is well pronounced.

11- "Had your Lord willed, all the people on earth would have believed. DO YOU WANT TO FORCE THE PEOPLE TO BECOME BELIEVERS?" 10:99

The question in this verse is an academic one, in other words the command is not to try to force anyone into Islam. The test that we have to undergo on earth demands that we denounce idolatry on our own, without being forced by others. If we are forced into becoming Muslims, there would be no credit due ....... it has to be our own choice.

12- "Proclaim: "This is the truth from your Lord," then WHOEVER WILLS LET HIM BELIEVE, AND WHOEVER WILLS LET HIM DISBELIEVE." 18:29

Once again, the message of 'no compulsion in religion' is very clear within these Quranic words.

13- "You shall remind, for your mission is to deliver this reminder. YOU HAVE NO POWER OVER THEM." 88:21-22

The message of no compulsion in religion is once again emphasised in these Quranic words.

SECOND

Revelations that prohibit fighting those who offer peace:

1- "IF THEY RESORT TO PEACE, SO SHALL YOU, and put your trust in GOD. He is the Hearer, the Omniscient." 8:61

The prohibition to fight those who offer peace is clear.

2- "Exempted are those who join people with whom you have signed a peace treaty, and those who come to you wishing not to fight you, nor fight their relatives. Had GOD willed, He could have permitted them to fight against you. Therefore, IF THEY LEAVE YOU ALONE, REFRAIN FROM FIGHTING YOU, AND OFFER YOU PEACE, THEN GOD GIVES YOU NO EXCUSE TO FIGHT THEM." 4:90

The command here is loud and clear, the believers have no right to fight those who offer them peace, in other words there is no excuse to find ANYBODY who is not an aggressor, whatever their conviction may be.

3- "How can the idol worshipers demand any pledge from GOD and from His messenger? "Exempted are those who have signed a peace treaty with you at the Sacred Masjid. If they honour and uphold such a treaty, you shall uphold it as well. GOD loves the righteous." 9:7

Once again, the command is clear that the believers may not fight those who uphold a treaty of peace.

THIRD

Revelations that advocate the call to Islam through sound advice, good reasoning and with the wisdom of the Quran, and not through chopping heads off !

1- "God is fully aware of their innermost intentions. YOU SHALL NOT FORCEFULLY CONFRONT THEM, instead enlighten them, and give them good advice that may save their souls." 4:63

Sadly, the corrupt interpreters obliterated the wisdom in these verses by claiming that the words:

"YOU SHALL NOT FORCEFULLY CONFRONT THEM, instead give them good advice that may save their souls" have been abrogated by the verse of the sword. In other words, they say (about the disbelievers) that if they do not believe, do not enlighten them, and do not give them sound advice but instead kill them all !

2- "You shall invite to the path of your Lord with WISDOM AND SOUND ADVICE, AND DEBATE WITH THEM EMPLOYING THE BEST POSSIBLE REASONING. Your Lord knows best who has strayed from His path, and He knows best who are the guided ones." 16:125

The wisdom of these Quranic verse is a far cry from the corrupt advocate of chopping the heads of the infidels off !

3- "The worshipers of the Most Gracious are those who tread the earth gently, and when the ignorant speak to them, THEY ONLY UTTER 'SALAAM' (peace)." 25:63

The Quran advocates the most civilized manner to address all people, even the ignorant, and that is with the word Peace.

4- "(Say) 'I am simply commanded to worship the Lord of this town-He has made it a safe sanctuary-and He possesses all things. I am commanded to be a submitter. And to RECITE THE QURAN. Whoever is guided is guided for his own good, and IF THEY GO ASTRAY, THEN SAY, "I AM SIMPLY A WARNER." 27:91-92

Here the command is to guide with the wisdom of the Quran, and that the ones who go astray after that are to be left alone.

5- "Not equal is the good response and the bad response. YOU SHALL RESORT TO THE BEST POSSIBLE RESPONSE. Thus, the one who used to be your enemy, may become your best friend." 41:34

Once again, the believers are commanded here to use the best possible manner and attitude in preaching the way of God.

FOURTH

Revelations that advocate Mercy and Forgiveness towards the disbelievers and hypocrites.

1- "It was a consequence of their violating the covenant that we condemned them, and we caused their hearts to become hardened. Consequently, they took the words out of context, and disregarded some of the commandments given to them. You will continue to witness betrayal from them, excepting a few of them. YOU SHALL PARDON THEM, AND DISREGARD THEM. GOD loves those who are benevolent." 5:13

The subject here is the Jews who violated God's commandments (see verse 12). Despite of their gross sin in violating the commandments and also corrupting the meaning of the Scripture, God still commands the prophet (and all believers) to pardon them. Very different from the call to chop the heads of the disbelievers off !

2- "YOU SHALL RESORT TO PARDON, ADVOCATE TOLERANCE, AND DISREGARD THE IGNORANT." 7:199

Once again, the command here is to pardon, tolerate, and disregard all the ignorant idol worshipers, and never to forcefully impose submission on them.

3- "We did not create the heavens and the earth, and everything between them, except for a specific purpose. The end of the world will come, so SHOW THEM (the disbelievers) SINCERE FORGIVENESS" 15:85

This is the heart of the Quran that the enemies of Islam tried to corrupt. In place of forgiveness, pardon and tolerance, they have presented a false image of the Quran that is based on savagery, aggression and intolerance !

4- "You shall DISREGARD THEM AND SAY, "PEACE;" they will surely find out." 43:89

"PEACE" is the attitude that the Quran advocates towards the disbelievers. Sadly this message of peace has been obliterated by the ignorant interpreters who abused the Quran.

5- "Tell those who believe to FORGIVE THOSE WHO DO NOT LONG FOR THE DAYS OF (meeting) GOD. He will fully pay everyone for whatever they have earned." 45:14

The call for forgiveness even towards the enemies of God is well pronounced throughout the Quran. Sadly the ignorant have attempted to tarnish this image.

FIFTH

Revelations that assert that the punishment for idol worshippers and atheists lies with God and not with man.

1- "Whether we show you what we promise them, or terminate your life before that, your sole mission is to deliver (the message). IT IS US WHO WILL CALL THEM TO ACCOUNT." 13:40

The message here is clear, the judgment and punishment for idolatry lies with God and not with man.

2- "To GOD belongs the most beautiful names; call upon Him therewith, and disregard those who distort His names. THEY WILL BE REQUITED (BY GOD) FOR THEIR SINS." 7:18O

Once again, it is important here to note that God asserts that the punishment for those who distort God's image lies with God. They are not to be punished by people.

3- "Do not be impatient; WE ARE PREPARING FOR THEM (the idol worshippers) SOME PREPARATION (retribution)." 19:84

This verse confirms that the punishment for the idol worshippers is not with the prophet or any believer, but it is a punishment prepared by God for them in the hereafter.

This is also confirmed in the following verse :

"THEREFORE, BE PATIENT IN THE FACE OF THEIR UTTERANCES, and praise and glorify your Lord before sunrise and before sunset. And during the night glorify Him, as well as at both ends of the day, that you may be happy." 20:130

4- "Absolutely, the religion shall be devoted to GOD alone. Those who set up idols beside Him say, "We idolize them only to bring us closer to GOD; for they are in a better position!" GOD WILL JUDGE THEM REGARDING THEIR DISPUTES. GOD does not guide such liars, disbelievers." 39:3

Once again we are told here that it is GOD who will judge the idol worshippers.

5- "Proclaim: "This is the truth from your Lord," then whoever wills let him believe, and whoever wills let him disbelieve. WE HAVE PREPARED FOR THE TRANSGRESSORS A FIRE that will completely surround them." 18:29

BESIDES:
Why didn't you talk about the SIXTH verse which says:
"But if any of the idol worshipers seek your PROTECTION, grant it for them, and give them SAFETY, till they may hear the word of God".
The command here is to only proclaim and warn then leave each to his/her own choice. Once again, the words "WE HAVE PREPARED FOR THE TRANSGRESSORS A FIRE" confirm that the punishment for idolatry is with God alone.

It is because that is how the devil would have them interpret it. God doesn't want people to believe these false religions. He prepared a way for all.

What God did...

Think of it this way... Imagine you're in a courtroom again, you're guilty of many serious crimes. The judge says, "It's a fine of $500,000, or prison." You don't have anywhere near that amount of money, so the bailiff begins to walk you out of the courtroom when someone you don't even know appears. He runs up to the judge with a check and says, "I've paid the fine for you." Now that the fine has been paid, the law no longer has any hold on you. You're free -- because of the gift you were given.

This is what God did for you by sending Jesus to die on the cross in your place. So that you wouldn't have to go to Hell, God sent his only Son, Jesus, to die on the cross -- suffering the punishment that justice demands. Then He rose from the grave, forever defeating death! The Bible tells us, "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believer on Him, shall not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16) If you will repent of your sins and put your trust in Jesus, God says he will forgive all your sins and grant you the gift of everlasting life. Just like the court case we just talked about, if you repent (that means to confess and forsake your sins) and put your trust in Jesus, then you will not have to suffer God's justice in Hell because the payment for your crimes was made by Jesus on the cross.

If you're not sure what to pray, read Psalm 51, and make it a model for your prayer. The words are not "magical," what God cares about is the attitude of your heart. When you pray, it should sound something like this, "Dear God, I repent of all my sins, such as (name them). I put my trust in Jesus Christ as Lord (to say Jesus is your Lord means you are now making Jesus the master over your life) and Savior. Forgive me and grant me your gift of everlasting life. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen."

Now read your Bible daily, and obey what you read. God will never let you down.

What should you read? We suggest that you start in the book named "John," and then read the one named "Romans." Whatever you decide to read, make sure you read every day.

They won't revise it because doing so violates their religion much in the same way Christians won't revise any part of the bible etc... I agree that it is a foul and evil text and idea to fight all non-believers but I think the true solvency of the problem is to bring more people away from radical religious practice into more mainstream life aside from changing the text of a book. Even if the book was changed the hardcore extremists would call that heresy and would disregard any changes and go by the old words anyway.

Jihadists say peace, peace, then take out their sword that kills whosoever is enemy of Islam and/or their children & friends. If you don't answer the call of Jihad then your life is worth nothing and you'll just go to hell.

I've read certain Koran verses & I don't like the God of the Koran. Hell for this, and Hell for that. They, Jihadist, attacked USA on 9/11/01 for the cause of Islam. I believe the bible is the written Word of God. I've studied it extensively, and God has revealed me His love and power through it. When I read the Koran, it's so much condemnation. Says people are good for nothing and hell bound if they don't follow every detail of it's law. Which is basically to bow to the Koran and everything in it (including rejecting the biblical Son of God & God's salvation plan) & to do jihad if you're called to do so. You can deceive others (entrap with a liennagrees), plunder, kill innocent if it's for the cause of Islam. That just goes against my conscience. Hasn't everyone been born with a conscience?

Al Zaquari ended up in hell. Actually I had a nightmare after He died. A taste of hell. Lasted maybe 5 seconds. I woke up crying, "Jesus.". God asked me if I was glad terrorists went to hell? I'm not glad. But what can I do. I pray that they get found and imprisoned, but if there is no other way, that they get killed. I pray that God reveal to them His Truth, His Salvation message. God loves them unconditionally. He only hates their sin. But this is the worst sin, to kill innocent people and children. They need deliverance from the Spirit of Antichrist, Spirit of Suicide, lust of murder for self righteousness, etc.

Read Revelations 9:11. I think there's a connection with 9/11/01.
