Default Is there contradiction in the Quran?

I asked a similar question before but it seems that people who answered it did not get what I mean.

My question is about the punishment for people who commit adultery. In one verse in the Quran (Nisa'a 4:15) the punishment is HOUSE IMPRISONMENT, while in another verse (Al Nour 24:2) the punishment is LASHING. Is there any contradiction between the two verses?

Also, prophet Muhammed used to punish people who commit adultery by STONING TO DEATH. Is this also in contradiction to what the Quran said (in either of the two verses)?

no, there are ZERO contradictions in the Qumran. stoning or lashing were the common two punishments for adulterers back in the day. but there were also different situations back then so there is something different for each type.

There are many contradictions-- but the followers just panic and have the info. deleted.

Many excuses for the contradictions--- ""we just don't understand!""

Does it really matter whether or not it has internal contradictions? It's still the delusional ramblings of a psychopath.

There is just as much contradiction on the Quran as there is in the Bible.

Some time the punishment is changed depending upon the situation, as Islam is a flexible religion.

Like any other book of mythology, there are dozens if not HUNDREDS of contradictions and outright lies in all such books.
It's not as if they're based in reality after all so why worry about it?

There is NO contradiction, there can be several punishments for a single crime, depending on the level of the crime.

The biggest problem is the violence, they need to rewrite the whole Koran to get the violence out. They try to explain it away, but they have no new testament of way that explains what they are doing. They need to read the Christian New TEstament and do it and then they will become non violent and "love their enemies."

NO contradictions..Its the difference in situation of offense. for adulteration ... to my knowledge.. the punishment is lashing for UN-married and STONING TO DEATH for married. Nothing is deleted from Quran. The oldest version available completely tellies with the latest. There is not even a single word different.

You just don?t understand.
It depends mainly on the situation.
Like if the committee of adultery is married or single, if the woman who committed this sin became pregnant or not.
There are no contradictions in Quran.
Who ever says that did?t read the Quran as a whole and did?t understand it.
Please people whoever did?t read the Quran don?t just answer saying yes, like any other mythology book or any of these stupid ignorant answers.
If you have a certain knowledge we?re glad if you share it other than that I say ?sell crap else where. We?re stocked here.?

Nope, there are no contradictions in the Quran. Don't forget, you are reading translations and it translates VERY poorly.
