Non-Muslims: what do you think about this? the miracle of the Quran!!!?
and for atheists who do not believe anything as long as it is scientific:
pzazz....visit this site: http://www.quran-islam.org/main_topics/miracle_of_the_quran_(P1313).html
i meant unless it is scientific, sorry.
Got an argument to make? Then do so. But do not claim you have an argument hidden somewhere in an off-site link. That is a bit dishonest.
"Miracles of the Qur'an" are a collection of propaganda and "proofs" which you wouldn't accept from any religion but your own, as you would notice if you posted any of them here and asked for comment. Go on, pick the best one you have. It's going to be torn to shreds in five minutes here.
I don't think the Quran is scientific nor meant to be. Most Muslims have the sense to know so as well. Some apologists take vague passages with multiple possible interpretations and twist them to fit what we have since learned. Sometimes they present it as unique knowledge in the Quran when its information that the ancient Greeks or other civilizations had and recorded long before the Quran was written. All this ignoring the very unscientific parts of the Quran. For example, the Quran says that Allah created everything in six days. He created earth and all on it in the first four and then went on to create the heavens/universe. The earth did not exist before the universe.
I respect your right to draw your own conclusions what to believe. I don't think those conclusions are very logical or well founded personally.
I've read the Quran. The miracle is that anyone would think of it as great literature. It is the most redundant book I have ever read. Unless we are to believe that God repeats the same things over and over, I can't accept it as divinely inspired.
There are no miracles of the Qumran. It's all twisted lies and manipulated stories. Sorry to burst your bubble, but I think it's ABOUT TIME YOU MUSLIMS GOT SLAPPED UPSIDE THE HEAD AND START THINKING RATIONALLY.
The most weird thing for a believer of God is to think think that He needs some one to take His message across His creations.
Either one can believe in God or in Religion and its scripts.
If one believe God as present every where then why He needs mediums to communicate.
If one listens subtly to the universe he will get the messages from God.
God if says that if only you are under a certain faith then only he will protect then it is not God it is a Guard who offers service on conditions.
To speak of God one should first remove all bias from the mind and believe that God is the creator of all which includes all living beings and all texts and messages.
Else it will be only like canvassing for a political party.
There is nothing scientific in the Quran. In fact some of the verses contradict science. For example,
1) According to Holy Quran mountains prevent earthquake or the shaking of the earth. In Sura Al Al-Anbiyaa (Chapter 21 verse# 31)
It says
" And We have placed on the earth firm mountains, lest it should shake with them
If Mountains are there to stop the earth from shaking, then why do we see so many earthquakes in mountainous regions?. For example, Japan is a mountainous zone but it has 1500 earthquakes every year.'Shaking of the earth' and earth quakes mean the same thing right? Mountains are created because of the movement of tectonic plates. They do not stabilize the earth or prevent shaking of the earth. This verse is clearly in error
2) The Quran In Sura Al Mulk (Chapter 67) Ayaat # 5 it says
"And We have adorned the lowest heaven with lamps,
and we have made such (Lamps as) missiles to drive away Satans, ... "
So the stars were created by Allah as missiles to throw at the devils? In order to not let them eavesdrop on the heavenly council?
The first Ayala says stars are lamps that is fine but lamps (stars) are not thrown at devils
3) Why does the Quran say Allah prevents the sky from falling into the earth?
The Holy Quran in Sura Al Hajj ( chapter 22 verse# 65) says
Pickthall:He holdeth back the heaven from falling on the earth unless by His leave. Lo! Allah is, for mankind, Full of Pity, Merciful.
As me know the sky is vast. So how can it fall into the earth? This sounds absurd.
4) According to the Quran honey comes from the body of the bee.
In Sura an Nahl An Nahl (chapter 16 verse # 69) says
YUSUFALI: Then to eat of all the produce (of the earth), and find with skill the spacious paths of its Lord: there issues from within their bodies a drink of varying colours, wherein is healing for men.
A bee makes honey from the collected then chewed up pollen from plants. The bee never actually swallows and or digests the pollen. Honey does not come from the bodyof the bee. The bees chew their nectar through their mouth. After that nectar is dried out in the honeycomb and honey is formed. The verse in Quran is scientifically incorrect.
