Primarily, the hermaphrodites are not like what you described.
The Klinefelter Syndrome, that you seem to be confusing there is actually a male who develops breasts, but then, the sexual organs in all Hermaphrodites are dual [female with male appendages] and the treatment can be effected from an early stage of Testosterone, for example, to replace the missing chromosomes and bring the man back to balance so that with a few surgical corrections, he can lead a normal life. However, the patient will be infertile, though otherwise a functional male.
Quite incidentally enough, a recent case of a hermaphrodite who was treated for the disability in India successfully was a Muslim called Ali, son of Zubeda. Naturally, the details of the family were not provided to protect their privacy.
One thing that you must appreciate is that this is a congenital condition and is not incurable.
There is no "cutting off of the breasts", because the hormonal treatment and corrective surgery is done at a very young age.
Kindly educate yourself from the links below.
I don't care to go into the "Religious" implications of this matter because it's irrelevant to the issue. This is another disease which has a cure and it is ridiculous to ask what some out of date book has to say about it.
Sorry if it hurts that I'm being straightforward, but, these things are a harrowing experience for the victims, many of whom are abandoned in their infancy and live their entire lives as beggars and outcasts just because of general ignorance; which is not an amusing thing.
I do wish that people would also refrain from making ridiculous statements like there are no Muslims like that. There have been, are and will continue to be many Muslim bastards, hermaphrodites and homosexuals [of both kinds]; as much as we would find them in any other "Religious" group. It's absolutely ridiculous to say that believing in some fairy tale will make them any different to others.
