Default Why most of the non muslim "experts" on Islam haven't even read the whole Quran?

Almost all of them seem to get all their information from pathetic anti Islam websites and they act like they are scholars of Islam.. Lil.
@ SalmaHayek, that's also true, even some of the Muslim "experts" are just as pathetic as the non Muslims who lie about Islam.

Agreed.

If you go to Amazon, one of the bestsellers in the "Quran" section is a book by Robert Spencer, "An Infidel's Guide to the Quran". This book takes the verses of the Quran that are often used by non-Muslims to attack us, and it just elaborates on them with the most negative false claims. Why do non-Muslims choose to buy this copy over the actual Quran? It doesn't even explain the Quran for you, it only makes an ignorant lie-spammed.

This is not only true for Non-Muslim "experts" but Muslims as well. My survey in this forum for example, has shown, by Muslims own admission, that more than half of the people on Ramadan has not completed reading the Quran even once.

Edit@Asker: I agree. People criticize Islam or any other religion not for RELIGIOUS reasons but secular ones. It does not matter from which religious background they emanate. Most of the time the critics have hidden agendas, which become exposed to the discerning eye, with just a cursory glance.

Actually Muslims do not have any idea what the Qumran says either. They follow man made Eadith so why blame non Muslims?
By the way "reading" or "reciting" does no good whatsoever. You need to understand it!

they can't even READ it properly and 'call' themselves as 'Arabs'.
this is the height of their 'pathetic' wisdom.

May Allah guide us all to the rightly path.
Ameen.

How come those who condemn homosexuality, haven't read all the journals and evidence helping to support homosexuality. Those who do end up realizing that they interpret the Quran wrong.

The so called experts from the non Muslims who do not read the Quran are just pathetic liars. They should read the whole Quran. They also quote the Hadith. They do not know the difference. The Hadith has many interpretations. Most of the answers here are mere copy paste. I have not read the Quran. So I do not answer. Some are trolls. Some sites the non Muslim visits are faith freedom.org, answering Islam, jihad watch, mission Agnew, Islam watch, jihad watch, etc. These sites are the main sources for their copy paste answers.
