WINE
Mohammed had to find more selling points besides virgins, young boys and plenty of water. What good would be of Paradise without rivers of wine for his followers? Wine was an extremely precious commodity in the dry deserts of Arabia where it was rare to find vineyards. Mohammed had a problem here- he had to include wine in his 'Paradise-Package' but how could he include it in the list when Allah had declared intoxicants as sinful. The only way to do this was to somehow claim that the wine in the promised Paradise was not intoxicating and therefore not sinful. Never mind the fact that wine by nature contains alcohol which is intoxicating.
The relevant verses from the Koran are:
Koran 47:15
Here is a Parable of the Garden which the righteous are promised. In it are...rivers of wine...
Koran 37:40-48
But the true servants of God shall be well provided for,...they shall be served with goblet filled at a gushing fountain, white and delicious to those who drink it. It will neither dull their senses nor befuddle them.
Koran 56:7-40
They shall recline on jewel led couches face to face, and there shalt wait on them immortal youths with bowls and ewers and a cup of purest wine:
Koran 83:23-26
The righteous will surely dwell in bliss. Reclining upon soft couches they will gaze around them: and in their faces you shall mark the glow of joy. They shall be given a pure wine to drink, securely sealed, whose very dregs are musk...
Mohammed knew that sex would sell very well among the group of his lecherous followers who were motivated to fight battles by the promise of sex slaves and booty. By constantly emphasizing to his followers that they would get untouched virgins in Paradise, Mohammed is clearly expressing his "high" opinion of the institution of marriage and his fairness to women. Once the followers go to heaven, they can conveniently ditch their wives for the fresher and more pleasurable sexual encounters with 'Houris' (beautiful virgins). Not only that, the poor wives who gave up their virginity for the pleasure of their husbands do not get even one Male Sex Bomb. But wait, Allah is all merciful! He gives the wives the rare hon our of watching their husbands deflower those 72 Houris (virgins) and 28 young Prue-pubescent boys.
Atheism. It is the only correct one. There are so many different religions that none of them can be true. Atheism isn't a religion, it's an acceptance of science.
For Islam, I recommend the Qur'an. For atheism... you can't really convert, but if you stop believing that their is a god, then you're an atheist, simple as that. I recommend being an atheist. You no longer have to fear some guy in the sky.
I use to be both. I was happy at first as a Muslim, but as time with became annoyed with the racism, fist fights in the masked, seeing so called brothers smack their wives in front of me when I was over their apartments, women being used for green cards, middle aged women converting in hopes of marrying an "exotic" man, Imams changing their style of Khyber's based on if they were on camera or not(trying to sound cool basically on camera), imams knowing less about Islam than many common Muslims, seeing a Jew who "reverted" to Islam get verbally assaulted with racial slurs because of his origin and then pushed, the imam who I said Shanda to turning out to be a con artist who stole masked money, kicked a homeless Muslim on the streets(which caused all the Algerians and Egyptians to hate each other for several months) refusing to marry Arab women to non Arabs(he would freak out if an Egyptian woman wanted to marry a non Egyptian)
Plus the huge confusion between math abs and the great difficulty of reading the Curran since it wasn't compiled properly, it was compiled to sound nice when recited. So one ayah talks about ibraheem, the next ayah talks about Isa with completely different unrelated stories. Then after leaving Islam I studied Judaism for a while and found many ayahs are word for word ripped off from the Gemara("A leaf does not fall without Allahs command" for instance)
So I became an atheist a few years after leaving Islam. Since I just recently gave up on atheism i won't get into it since I need more time to reflect on it. But it was pretty much a period of deceit, drug abuse, using women and stealing. Not saying that is what atheist do(there are many deeply moral atheists) but for me it was a downward spiral.
I'm not stating my current belief because I see no point in advertising it. It will just ruin everything I wrote.

You narrowed your choices into only those two choices because if you wanted to find the true definition of god it is either what is mentioned in the Quran or other wise baying atheist is better.
See brother being atheist is some thing Allah is severely punished. Becase it is like you did not even turn your brain to think for a while about your one and only creator.
Islam and Quran and Sunnah is your best choices.

Islam!
Do your research, try reading bits of the Qumran and you'll realize why Islam is the better choice, but whatever you do just stay aways from these biased and hating non-Muslims who provide you with wrong information. What makes Islam so special is the fact that it covers all aspects of human life and regulates it.
