How are these scientific facts mention in the Quran so accurate?
I was curious after a friend told me that their are 13 mention of land in the Qumran, and 32 mentions of water. Then ratio is about 28%, coincidental that's the land/water ratio.
So i found this website http://www.islamreligion.com/category/34/ , and i was surprised at how many facts in the Qumran were scientifically true. I want you all to know that the website in not too terrible biased. It gives us direct quotations from the Quran and references them to many websites with .Edi, NASA , and other credible sources. It really amazes me that the Quran was reveled in the 7Th century AD but has so many scientific facts that have just been found in modern science. Also the original Qumran has not been changed over the past 1400 years. The Original Qumran can be found in a museaum in Russia (Dont know how it got there) and its text is the exact same to the ones you can get from a Mosque.

Also mentioned in the Quran is the eath being Sperical Shaped.

So what is your point? Anybody can search for coincidences in books. And most of your numbers that supposedly 'prove' the Qumran seem to keep being 'about' and '%sh'. Those are not scientific terms.
Look at it this way. A researcher once use the same methods that bible code fanatics use and applied it to Moby Dick. Moby Dick correctly predicted the assassination of JFK. Does that prove that Moby Dick was inspired by god? Or was it coincidence.

Which is unfortunately not that close to the actual ratio. It's closer to 29.5% than 28%. If it's so scientifically accurate, why isn't the ratio better? A few more of each word would give a MUCH more accurate ratio - like say 15/51.

Actually, the sun "catches up to" the moon every month.

Have you ever seen an ostrich egg? That's pretty much the opposite of its shape. The Earth is an "oblate spheroid" which is shortened at the poles and elongated around at the equator. An ostrich egg is a "pro late spheroid" which is elongated at the poles and shortened around the equator.
