why is everything associated with islam extreme?

When a nun covers, she is righteous. When a Muslim women covers she's oppressed.
When a Jew grows his beard, he's following his religion. When a Muslim man grows his beards, he's a terrorist and should be feared.
When a Christian kills someone, he only represents himself. When a Muslim kills someone, he represents all of Islam.
Anyone else see a big problem here?

Because moderate and liberal Muslims stand by silently while the extremists take over their religion.

For the most part right now, the majority of people need their "Boogeyman."

Nobody forces anyone to be a nun.

A beard is just a beard. If anyone does it simply for religion, they lose credibility.

I would say either can represent their religion if they do it in the name of that religion. All of the Abrahamic texts say to kill unbelievers.

The problem is that nobody who makes claims based on faith should be allowed to go criticized.
