Default Know the Atheists false information about Quran ?

Whenever Muslims quote scientific miracles , just say ..this was known to Romans /Greeks before Islam without any proof.

Non believers know that there is direct proportionate in knowledge of science and advancement in technologies .And they know that real advancement in technology happened after expansion of knowledge in Science during between last 2 centuries .

we Muslims do not even believe in weak Eadith's. Because there is no sufficient proof that it was said by the Prophet himself . So how can we believe in their sayings ?

we have the oldest copies of our scriptures from the 1st century Hijra to present date .
where are the old copies of their Roman and Greek sayings about science with carbon dating proofs ?
Sane: where are the texts of scriptures with carbon dating proofs ?

Sammie : quote from any 1400 years old book such miracles http://www.quranandscience.com/islam-and-science-universe.html

sane : brother/sister correct your self and update your knowledge by studying a single web page only http://www.islamic-awareness.org/Quran/Text/Mss/
http://www.islamic-awareness.org/Quran/Text/Mss/ms2165.html
spire : Quran was revealed to Prophet Muhammad Saaw , an unlettered person .Quran never claimed as Book of science .
Eye of Omen: Carbon-14 tests date some of the parchments to 645-690 AD (wiped)DOAran never claimed itself as a Book of science but claimed as a book of Signs and Guidance to Humanity. There are the some verses(signs) related to Science , what people knew in the age of science ,the 20th century . Because Quran is a miracle of every age .And the link explain my claim very well
just check it in details http://www.quranandscience.com/islam-and-science-universe.html
Will any one like to suggest the date ..when scientist knew about Water Cycle & Star(Sun) as a moving object ?

Just carefully read through last link for the rest of answers you need .

You really need to get a grip upon reality, Ahmad or Creativity for humans or Allahu Akbar or whatever else you wish to call yourself.

Let us pray that Allah will grant you ability to see the Truth that you are blinding yourself to.

Very well then, keep searching for shapes in the clouds to justify your religion. Please realize however that any book can be read or interpreted to give the impression that it has scientific miracles.

That you don't know about them, or that your education has been so poor that you've never heard of them, doesn't mean they don't exist.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_science_in_Classical_Antiquity

We have quite a number of texts.

These ideas and this science were known and valued throughout the whole area. Greek physicians and teachers were highly sought-after for centuries before your prophet was born, for example. Your Muhammad - engaged as he was in trade - would have had to have lived with his head in the sand to have missed these ideas and their importance.

Of course he knew about these sources.

By the way, the oldest copies of the Quran date from about 700 CE...far, far later than the writings you claim to be skeptical of.

"this was known to Romans/Greeks before Islam without any proof."
Without any proof? Muslims digging up Ancient Greek and Roman texts and translating them into Arabic is the proof that Islam found it, but it didn't start it. Finding scientific texts, and writing scientific texts are two different things. Secondly, Romans and Greeks weren't the same peoples - but they shared a common sense of civilization.

"Quran never claimed as Book of science."
So then why do Muslims such as yourself attempt to make it like a book of science, even though it isn't? you can't have "scientific miracles" of the Quran, then dismiss Greek and Roman texts that helped rise too the Golden Age of Islam which has long since passed. It's either one or the other, you can't have both.

There are no scientific miracles in Quran.

Look at this verse for example :

(And it is He Who sends the winds as heralds of glad tidings, going before His Mercy (rain). Till when they have carried a heavy-laden cloud, We drive it to a land that is dead, then We cause water (rain) to descend thereon. Then We produce every kind of fruit therewith. Similarly, We shall raise up the dead, so that you may remember or take heed.) (7:57)

Allah says:

(And We send the winds fertilizing (to fill heavily the clouds with water), then cause the water (rain) to descend from the sky, and We give it to you to drink, and it is not you who are the owners of its stores [i.e. to give water to whom you like or to withhold it from whom you like].) (15:22)

"Modern science has affirmed the scientific points mentioned in this verse of the Quran"

What scientific points are in these verses for God's sake?! Humans have witnessed for thousands of years that rain comes from the clouds. And that water is essential for the growth of plants and for life.

Now where is the miracle in that ? What Quran says comes from the simple observation of the nature!

Just like Quran says sun and moon move in the sky and they move in their own orbits! Well this is not a scientific miracle either. Of course sun and moon move! You can see that with your own eyes. And that's how people of ancient times planned their day and calculated the time and not just that, people since antiquity had learned that in different seasons sun rises and sets in different spots and they used this as a way to calculate the time of season to plan their farming and other activities.

The pyramids in Egypt, Perspolis in Iran, Maya and Aztec ruins all are built according to such cosmic observations.

But what all the ancient people failed to understand was that Earth is round and it also moves! And can you find a single verse that points out to this fact? of course not. Quran talks about how sun and moon move but it doesn't say earth also moves in the same way.

So what's all the farce about?

first , i would like to say that from most of the answers , they have just confirmed this verse :

Qur'an [2:212]
Beautified for those who disbelieve is the life of this world, and they ridicule those who believe. But those who fear Allah are above them on the Day of Resurrection. And Allah gives provision to whom He wills without account.

second , Qur'an is a book of signs (just like you said) , so I'm telling all the users who answered that no one claimed that Curran is a book of science.

the Curran that you people are ridiculing told us 1400 years ago about:

the big bang

the speed of light

the black holes

the natural mechanical movement of every thing in the universe is in wavy motion

underwater waves that occur between layers of warm and cold water in coastal regions of the world's oceans

every living thing was made from water (H2O) hydrogen and oxygen

difference of fingerprints

and there are many more

but my question for you people though , did the Greek scientists know those facts 1400 years ago ?

if you say that prophet mu hammed (peace be upon him) wrote the Curran , then how is it possible that he knew all this ?

Allah said to his prophet :

Qur'an [3:184]
Then if they deny you, [O Muhammad] - so were messengers denied before you, who brought clear proofs and written ordinances and the enlightening Scripture.

Qur'an [15:3]
Let them eat and enjoy themselves and be diverted by [false] hope, for they are going to know.

so guess what , you ain't the first who deny our prophet , and you ain't the last

indeed , you are going to know.
