Why is it that men are able to marry outside the religion an women aren't in Islam?
I was reading that men are allowed to get to marry a woman as long as she is of the books. She doesn't have to convert etc. A woman is not allowed to do so because it is believed that the non-Islamic male will Indore his religion on her. but a non-Muslim woman can too Indore her religion on him And their future children. Can someone explain this without being disrespectful it's just a question of knowledge. Thanks

I dunno maybe because of the fact that women are seen as less than men? An Islamic man is far more likely to convince a woman of another religion to convert (even though it's not technically required) than an Islamic woman is to convert a man?
In that religion a woman does what she is told, if she's told to convert she's expected to even if it isn't in the rules.
first i would like to say that Muslims believe in all prophets and are ordered not to differentiate between them so in general there shouldn't be problem in dealing with the other
secondly its a matter of fact that men in families have some sort of leadership and women tend to be more..preserver for the family
because of the above, (assuming all other variables are constant) Muslim men living with christian/Jewish women will be in a total respect as both believe in the same prophet and are ordered to be gentle with them
on the other hand christian/Jewish men dint believe on prophet Mohamed and hence Muslim women as every women will in some way had to compromise her religion to preserve the family
if we analyzed priorities as per our Crater manuals we will find that God come first then the mate and accordingly choices should be established
