Pakistan can never be a "better" country........unless it stops prosecuting......and killing its own citizens......for the benefit.......of the USA......and its allies.......A good country or nation......looks after its citizens.....and protects them.....against the evils......of a marauding alien state.
No country is better without a belief system. The question should be whether it would be better without extremists. That will hold true for any country including the U.S. which has no shortage of right wing politicians and other supporters of KKK.
Pakistan only exists because of Islam, if it had been mainly Hindu at the time of Independence from Britain Pakistan would just be another province of India.
All countries would be better without Islam, even America would be better off if America did not have a President that has said many, many times " we are not at war with Islam", and we should know, that is a LIE. And we should know , who's side he is really on, and it is not America's side.
The conflicts between religions and the set boundaries within religions prevents people from leading a free and uncontrolled lives, there are so many rules within religions that it Controls the every waking minute of its followers, religions are so intolerant of each other that many millions of people have died for no other reason than religious beliefs, it has been happening for thousands of years and it is still happening now, all religions promote peace but none actually practise a policy that would have a peaceful existence for everyone, so , yes, Pakistan would be better of without Islam but the world would be better of without any religion at all.
Islam is the ONLY solution to "all" the problems faced by the world of today.(especially the west)

Shariah means not what you listen from CNN and Fox news . Shariah means what Islam truly teaches. And i believe in that Shariah what Islam teaches.
The main question to you ..Why do the people have to rob others ?Islam commands us to shun robbery and also , prescribes method of eliminating robbery
a. Islam prescribes method of eliminating robbery.
All major religions teach that theft is an evil act. Islam teaches the same. So what is the difference between Islam and the other religions? The difference
lies in the fact that Islam, besides teaching that robbing is evil, shows a practical way of creating a social structure in which people will not rob.
b. Islam prescribes Zakat
Islam prescribes a system of Zakat (obligatory annual charity). Islamic law prescribes that every person who has a saving that exceeds the Nisan level i.e. more than 85 grams of gold, should give 2.5% of that saving every lunar year in charity. If every rich person in the world gave Zakat sincerely, poverty will be eradicated from this world. Not a single human being would die of hunger.
c. Chopping off the hands as punishment for robbery
Islam prescribes chopping off the hands of the convicted robber. The Glorious Qur?an says in Surah Maidah:
?As to the thief, male or female, cut off his or her hands:a punishment by way of example, from Allah, for their crime: and Allah is Exalted in
power, full of wisdom.? [ Al-Qur?an 5:38]
The non-Muslim may say, ?Chopping off the hands in this 20th century.
Islam is a barbaric and ruthless religion!?
d. Results achieved when Islamic Shariah Implemented America is supposed to be one of the most advanced countries in the world. Unfortunately it also has one of the highest rates of crime, theft, and robbery. Suppose the Islamic shariah is implemented in America i.e. every rich person gives Zakat ( 2.5% of his savings in charity above 85 grams of gold every lunar year), and every convicted robber has his or her hands chopped off as a punishment. Will the rate of theft and robbery in America increase, remain same or decrease? Naturally it will decrease. Moreover the existence of such a stringent law would discourage many a potentialrobber.
I agree that the amount of theft that takes place in the world today is so tremendous that if you chop off the hands of all the thieves, there will be tens of thousands of people whose hands will be chopped off. The point here is that the moment you implement this law the rate of theft will decline immediately. The potential robber would give it a serious thought before jeopardizing his limbs. The mere thought of the punishment itself will discourage majority of the robbers. There will barely be a few who would rob. Hence only a few person?s hands would be chopped off but millions would live peacefully without fear of being robbed. Islamic Shariah is therefore practical, and achieves results.
In Makkah, Saudi Arabia ,people go to prayer while their shops are opened .They do not close their shops because they know no one can dare to steal any thing . Islam therefore believes in practicals rather than flowery words to control the Criminals.
Taking into account the number of Islamic asylum seekers here in the UK, plus those who use the HR act to avoid being sent back, I think it's safe to say ANY country would be better off.
Islam Defends Freedom of Thought
Democracy and lyricism dominate the essence of Islam.
That is because lyricism is a system that eliminates hypocrisy. In other
words, someone can openly and honestly reveal that he is not religious, can
say that he is an atheist, or if he is a member of another religion or holds
different beliefs he can say that, too. It is lyricism that makes this possible,
and that is something that already exists in Islam. Democracy is also
something existing within Islam. So if democracy wishes to learn anything, it must learn it from Islam. In other words, democracy stems from Islam. As
you know, Islam is a very old faith. It comes from the Prophet Adam (as).
Democracy is something, an idea, that appeared subsequently. It again
stems from Islam. So both democracy and lyricism already exist in Islam.
Culture, knowledge and love are the greatest weapons. The moral values
of Islam will rule the world through culture, knowledge and love, and is
doing so now; this is continuing now. People see that, but are not yet that
consciously aware of it. But this is going ahead, step by step, and actually at
a fast pace.
Islam is a religion which provides and guarantees freedom of ideas,
thought and life. It has issued commands to prevent and forbid tension,
disputes, slander and even negative thinking among people. In the same way
terrorism and all acts of violence are determinedly prohibited in Islam, even
the slightest ideological pressure to be put on them is also forbidden:
There is no compulsion in religion. True guidance has become clearly
distinct from error. (Surat AL-Baqara, 256)
So remind them! You are only a reminder. You are not in control of
them. (Surat AL-Ghashiyya, 21-22)
Forcing people to believe in a religion or to adopt its forms of belief is
completely contrary to the essence and spirit of Islamic morality. According to
Islam, true faith is only possible with free will and freedom of conscience. Of
course, Muslims can advise and encourage each other about the features of
Qur'anic morality. All believers are charged with explaining Qur'anic morality
to people in the nicest manner possible. They will explain the beauties of
religion in the light of the verse, "Call to the way of your Lord with wisdom
and fair admonition..." (Surat an-Nahl, 125), however, they must also bear in
mind the verse, "You are not responsible for their guidance, but Allah guides
whoever He wills." (Surat AL-Baqara, 272)
ISLAMIC MORALITY: THE SOURCE OF PEACE AND SECURITY
In 1492, the Jews who refused to convert were exiled from Spain by King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella
(above). The Jews were accepted by the Ottoman Empire, a haven of Islamic justice and compassion.
They will never resort to compulsion, nor any kind of physical or
psychological pressure. Neither will they use any worldly privilege to turn
someone towards religion. When they receive a negative response to what they
say, Muslims will reply along the lines of: "To you your religion, and to me,
mine" (Surat AL-Kafirun, 6)
The world we live in contains societies with all kinds of beliefs: Christian,
Jewish, Buddhist, Hindu, atheist, deist and even pagan. Muslims living in such
world must be compassionate towards all beliefs they come up against, no
matter what they may be, and behave forgivingly, justly and humanely. This
responsibility placed on believers is to invite people to the beauty of the
religion of Allah by means of peace and compassion. The decision whether or
not to implement these truths, whether or not to believe, lies with the other
party. Forcing that person to believe, or trying to impose anything on him, is a
violation of Qur'anic morality. In fact, Allah issues a reminder to believers in
the Qur'an:
If your Lord had willed, all the people on the earth would have
believed. Do you think you can force people to be believers? (Surah
Yunus, 99)
We know best what they say and you [O Muhammad] are not a
compeller over them. But warn by the Qur'an whoever fears My
warning. (Surah Qaf, 45)
A model of society in which people are forced to worship is completely
contradictory to Islamic morality. Belief and worship should be directed to
Allah by the free will of the individual. If a system imposes belief and
worship on people, then they will act as if they are religious out of fear of that
system. This will mean the encouragement of hypocrisy and no Muslim would
approve that. From the point of view of Islamic morality, what really counts is
that religion should be lived for Allah's good pleasure in an environment
where peoples' consciences are totally free.
The history of Islam is full of the compassionate and understanding
practices of Muslim rulers who have respected all religions and built religious
freedom with their own hands.
