Religious tolerance.

Any religion could be right,
even those that claim that
other religions are all false and
deserve death punishment.

The world belongs to Satan.

Congratulations, you have uncovered one of the most obvious contradictions in the Koran... apparently there is compulsion in the religion of Islam... (2:256)

No, it does not say kill them all. "Kill them" refers to the permission to fight enemy combatants during the Meccan war against Islam 1,500 years ago. It is not a general commandment, and it is not for us today.

Absolutely and it is implemented in several Islamic countries. Most Muslims deny it but they do not understand the message of the Qumran better than the clerics in those Islamic countries.

prob the same reason they allow the bible which says to kill those who leave the religion:

Deuteronomy 13:6-9, Deuteronomy 17:3-5, 2 Chronicles 15:13.

by the way the verse you posted doesn't say to kill people who leave Islam, for those who cant read Arabic he posted Sarah Babara 2:191 which is referring to an event when the Muslims were fighting Muhammad's(saw) tribe who were never Muslim anyway.

the Qumran itself actually doesn't say to kill those who leave Islam, but it is in islamic law according to many opinions to be applied in an islamic state with certain conditions. some even say it was due to religion and the state being so intertwined that its referring to treason. by the way this is not trying to justify it to you, just explaining it.

however back to your question no opinion says its ok to kill anyone living in europe living under european laws and that they should respect the laws of the country, so thats probably why its allowed, as the bible is.

I think you're misinterpreting the Qu'ran. Back in medieval Islamic times they used to execute those who changed their religion, but definitely not anymore.

even though Vatican (center of catholic beliefs) is in Europe it doesn't mean that there are no Islams in Europe...and wherever there is an Islam there is a Koran and the things that are written in the Koran is fixed and nobody can change it or even revise it...

17:45 state " When thou dost recite the Qur'an , We put, between thee and those who believe not in the Hereafter,a veil invisible.

17:46 state " And We put coverings over their hearts (and minds) lest they should understand the Quran, and deafness, into their ears: when thou dost commemorate thy Lord and Him alone in the Qur'an, they turn on their backs, fleeing ( from the Truth )"

Islam is a religion of Peace.
We Muslims keep our Merciful Creator?s instructions in mind,as Allah tells us: ?Keep to forgiveness. And enjoin kindness?7:199. ?And do good, that happily you may prosper.?22:77. ?Peace is best? 4:128.?? and offer peace,?God gives you no excuse to fight ..." (Al-Infaal: 61). ??and do good; no doubt good doers are the beloved of Allah? 2:195. ?And speak ?with gentle speech?20:44. ??and race with one another to do good.?2:148 ?We have enjoined on man, kindness??29:8.?And do not insult?? 6:108 ?Allah orders justice and kindness..?16:90
Allah instructs us thus:
"You will not kill. God has made life sacred,?An?am:51. Our Merciful Creator has made all life sacred, whether Muslims or not. But some people/non-Muslims might say, ?God has ordered us to commit violence against non-Muslims and Muslims? and these very people shall go around committing crimes, and perhaps call themselves Muslims while engaged in criminal activities-About them Allah informs us in the Quran:?They commit a gross sin, then say, "?God has commanded us to it." We Muslims should answer with the Truth of The Quran: "God never advocates sin. Are you saying about God what you do not know?"?(Quran: Surah Al-A?Rafa: 28) . God Orders Muslims in the Quran: "You will not kill... These are His commandments to you, that you may understand." (6:151). And about the Quran, Allah informs us: ?Falsehood cannot approach it from before it or from behind it; It is a revelation from the (Lord who is) Wise and Praiseworthy?.41:42
Islam is a religion of Peace, Love, Unity and Equality. Islam never allows violence. Quran never condones violence. And Our Lord never advocates sin. ?The knowledge thereof is with my Lord, in a Record. My Lord neither errs nor forgets.? 20:52. "God never advocates sin. Are you saying about God what you do not know?"?(Quran: Surah Al-A?raafh: 28)
Our Merciful Creator teaches us as denizen of the world, we are to abide by rules set by Him if we are to be His True Believers. ?If you should raise your hand against me to kill me-I shall not raise my hand against you?Indeed, I fear Allah, Lord of the worlds?. 5:28
The Quran, the Final Testament, is indeed the word of our Lord, The Almighty , The Wise. ?And when Our clear verses are recited to them, the people who do not expect to meet Us say, "Bring a Qur?an other than this one, or change it"; say (O dear Prophet Mohammed - peace and blessings be upon him), "I do not have the right to change it on my own; I only follow what is divinely revealed to me; if I were to disobey my Lord , then I fear the punishment of the Great Day (of Resurrection).? [Quran: Jonah 10:15]
Allah, the Owner of Might and Glory, forbids Muslims from associating any partners unto Allah, and to refrain from violence:
"Whoever killed a soul not to retaliate for a soul, nor for creating disorder in the land, then it is as if he had killed all mankind. And whoso gave life to one soul, then it is as if he had given life to all mankind" (The Noble Quran: Surah Al-Mai da, Verse 32)

Jesus tells us_?Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on Earth? I tell you, Nay;but rather division: ? See also Matthew 10: 34-36.
-Blessed are the Peacemakers
In his sermon on the mount Jesus was quoted as saying(Matthew 5:9): ?Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.?
Islam means also Peace: peace between the Creator and the worshiper. Jesus could not mean his mission as peacemaker as he did not come for peace. (Matthew 10:34-36):?Think not that I am come to send peace on earth. I came not to send peace, but a sword..?See also Luke 12:49-53

Islam does not allow killing someone just because they do not believe in God. This has never been a proper teaching of true Islam.
To quote from the Quran Itself: "There is no compulsion in religion" 2:256

So, what exactly does happen to anyone who (apostates) Islam?"

ANSWER: link in the source

as for the verse The word used most often in Quran, that is so often mistranslated as kill; slay; or slaughter is not jihad, it is Ital and if you look to the Arabic, you will quickly understand this word in today's usage would clearly be combat.

Naturally, just as here in the U.S. we must stand up for righteousness and strive to prevent oppression, aggression and tyranny. This is the proper usage and understanding for this term, as you will discover while passing through the taffies and explanations by top scholars today.
Scholars of Quran tell us the verses dealing with this topic are specific and not intended to imply a general meaning for just anyone to decide to go around combating non-Muslims. The early Muslims had been driven out of their homes and turned out into the desert to starve. After finally, relocating in Medina, verses came in Quran instructing them to make hajj (pilgrimage) back to Makkah. Finding their way blocked and after several years of making agreements and treaties that the others continually broke, the Muslims were at last, told they could now fight in combat against the tyrants who had so horribly mistreated and abused them in the past. However, this would only be acceptable to God if they remained within very specific limitations. The word "Ital" in Arabic in this instance refers to "combat" rather than what some have used "kill" because the word "kill" is far to general, while the word "combat" appropriately describes what is intended by the usage in this passage. God Knows Best.

It should also be noted the usage of the word "fit nah" in the same verse denotes a horrible condition, not unlike what we find today when there is terrorism and tyranny against the moral and just society at large. It would be easy to properly understand the meaning as, "Engage them in combat, even killing them, until the state of "fit nah" (terrorism) no longer exists in the society and people are free to worship God by their choice."

We can see these verse are not designed to promote terrorism, but rather these are very orders from Above to the Muslims to be the first of those who stand out aggressively against all forms of terrorism and oppression.

Once this is in place, there really isn't a question anymore, due to the necessity as we see today, to prevent and subdue enemies of freedom, liberty and justice. In other words, we could easily say God ordered believers in the Quran to wage combat against terrorism - 14 centuries ago. And the "struggle against oppression, terrorism and tyranny" in the Arabic language, it is called, "Jihad."

You might even say,
"Islam declared the WAR ON TERRORISM - over 1,400 years ago!"
