I never understand why people make such big generalizations. Even if all Buddhists did convert to Islam (which is so completely unlikely to happen) what would it matter?! It is down to the person and what they believe in.
I've always wondered why white racists who make jokes like that just cause it seems fatalistic that other races were born to be looked down on, or why some white men criticize Asian men about not entertaining their women. But are most white jokes you see mimicked from TV even christian? So why are these political opinionated people and Christians so sympathetic towards each other. Makes you think whether there is a serious religion anymore.
By the way, Buddhism is arguably not a religion as they basically have no god or gods that they worship. There are more Christians sadly than Muslims, also which I hardly trust to be better of course, and most of the Islam followers come from the Southeast anyway or Western China anyways. Even if there are more Christians in China, there are only 200,000 Protestants/1.3 Billion Chinese, and this is only counting recent times.

As for India it's Hindu 80.5%, Muslim 13.4% and Christian 2.3% because the Muslims were nearly wiped out by the British empire when India fought for Independence. Also most prefer to live in Pakistan and Bangladesh which are just across the border.
The word InshaAllah means "if God wills". Muslim use this word when they make a statement like: InshAllah I will make sandwich at night, i.e "if God wills, I will make sandwich tonight" so it doesn't means that any one is saying that God is ONE? from where you get this impression?

Actually very, very few Buddhists convert to Islam in China, but there are quite a number of Muslims among the Chinese minorities, especially the Hui and the Uighur peoples.
The comparatively low number of Muslims in India despite hundreds of years of Muslim rule is a reminder that the Muslims didn't convert the whole population by force (in contradistinction to what the Christians often did when they conquered new territories).
