Who are Sunni's n Who are Shiya's ?

Wanted to know the difference between these two Muslim communities.

Actually from someone (having good knowledge about Islam) I come to know that Shia'ites are the True Muslims whereas Sunni's are those whose ancestors forcibly become Muslims and now calling themselves more Islamic then Shia'ites. Is it really true ?

This question is not to hurt anybody's religious feelings / believes....I just wanted to know the right information and make myself more enlightened about Islam.
