Ya Quran says Jesus (ISA) was the prophet and Jesus was v close to God....
But Thar is slight diff BTW Bible n Quran Saying...
Bible says Jesus Was Crucified
But Quran Says Judas was crucified and not Jesus.
God loved him so much that he saved Jesus from wrong Pol who were going to kill him n raised him high in sky and saved him.
a) "Christ Jesus the son of Mary was (no more than) an apostle of God, and His Word, which he bestowed on Mary, and a spirit proceeding from Him: so believe in God and His apostles, Say not "three: desist: it will be better for you, For God is One God, glory be to Him (far exalted is He) above having a son, to Him belong all things in the heavens and on earth, and enough is God as a Disposer of affairs,"
b ) " And remember, Jesus, the son of Mary, said: '0 children of Israel: I am the apostle of God (sent) to you, confirming the Law ( which came) before me, and giving glad tidings of an apostle to come after me, whose name shall be Ahmad (other name of prophet Mohammad), But when he came to them with clear signs they said, This is evident sorcery'," (61:6)
c) "Behold! the angels said: O'Mary: God give thee glad tidings of a word from Him: his name will be Christ Jesus the son of Mary, held in hon our in this world and the here after. and of (the company of) those nearest to God, He shall speak to the people: in childhood and in maturity, and he shall be amongst the righteous, ' She said: '0 my Lord, , how shall I have a son when no man hath touched me?' He said:. Even so: God createThhat He willeth; when He hath decreed a plan He but said to it "Be. ..and it is! and God will teach him the Book and Wisdom, the Law and the Gospel. and (appoint him) an apostle to the Children of Israel. with this message:, I have come to you with a Sign from your Lord. in that I make for you out of clay, as it were. the figure of a bird, and breathe into it and it btcomes a bird by God's leave: And I heal those born bl~nd. and the lepers, and I quicken the dead by God's leave. and I declare to y,ou what you eat and what you store in your houses: Surely theirin is a Sign for you if you believe. (1 also have come to you) to attest the Law which was before me; and to make lawful to you part of what was (before) forbidden to you. I have come to you with a Sign from your Lord: so fear God, and obey me. It is God who is my Lord and your Lord: so fear God, and obey me. It is God who is my Lord and your Lord so worship Him. .this is a way that is straight. When Jesus found unbelief on their part he said, Who will be my helpers to (the work of) God?' said the disciples, We are God's helpers. .we believe in God, and do thou bear witness that we are muslims (surrenderers to God).' And (the unbelievers) plotted and planned, and the best of planners is God. Behold, God said, O Jesus, I will take thee and raise thee to Myself and clear thee (of the falsehoods) of those who blaspheme. I will make those who follow thee superior to those who reject faith, to the day of resurrection, then shall ye all return unto Me, and I will judge between you of matters wherein ye dispute. ' (3:45-55)
Also Muslims say that prophet Jesus was not killed by people, but was risen to the God, so that He will come before the "end time" and lead whole world to the truth. Muslims believe that prophet Jesus is still alive for His big mission.
The Bible as we know it today contains many books. It wasn't written as a book. Did you know Jehovah used 44 writers over centuries?
Our Bible contains the Catholic "Septuagint" as well as parts of your Quran. Of course it will say much the same in many cases.
The important thing is that the word of God is spread for all to know the truth.
Jesus said" You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free".

Islam and the QURAN,speaks very Nick about all GODs prophet,
and these r some verses of the QURAN that tell us the true story of JESUS and MARY;
[16. Relate in the Book (the story of) Mary, when she withdrew from her family to a place in the East.
17. She placed a screen (to screen herself) from them; then We sent her our angel, and he appeared before her as a man in all respects.
18. She said: "I seek refuge from thee to ((Allah)) Most Gracious: (come not near) if thou dost fear Allah."
19. He said: "Nay, I am only a messenger from thy Lord, (to announce) to thee the gift of a holy son.
20. She said: "How shall I have a son, seeing that no man has touched me, and I am not unchaste?"
21. He said: "So (it will be): Thy Lord saith, 'that is easy for Me: and (We wish) to appoint him as a Sign unto men and a Mercy from Us':It is a matter (so) decreed."
22. So she conceived him, and she retired with him to a remote place.
23. And the pains of childbirth drove her to the trunk of a palm-tree: She cried (in her anguish): "Ah! would that I had died before this! would that I had been a thing forgotten and out of sight!"
24. But (a voice) cried to her from beneath the (palm-tree): "Grieve not! for thy Lord hath provided a rivulet beneath thee;
25. "And shake towards thyself the trunk of the palm-tree: It will let fall fresh ripe dates upon thee.
26. "So eat and drink and cool (thine) eye. And if thou dost see any man, say, 'I have vowed a fast to ((Allah)) Most Gracious, and this day will I enter into not talk with any human being'"
27. At length she brought the (babe) to her people, carrying him (in her arms). They said: "O Mary! truly an amazing thing hast thou brought!
28. "O sister of Aaron! Thy father was not a man of evil, nor thy mother a woman unchaste!"
29. But she pointed to the babe. They said: "How can we talk to one who is a child in the cradle?"
30. He said: "I am indeed a servant of Allah. He hath given me revelation and made me a prophet;
31. "And He hath made me blessed wheresoever I be, and hath enjoined on me Prayer and Charity as long as I live;
32. "(He) hath made me kind to my mother, and not overbearing or miserable;
33. "So peace is on me the day I was born, the day that I die, and the day that I shall be raised up to life (again)"!
34. Such (was) Jesus the son of Mary: (it is) a statement of truth, about which they (vainly) dispute.
35. It is not befitting to (the majesty of) Allah that He should beget a son. Glory be to Him! when He determines a matter, He only says to it, "Be", and it is.
36. Verily Allah is my Lord and your Lord: Him therefore serve ye: this is a Way that is straight.
What the Qumran says About Jesus:
-The word of God
-A messenger of God a prophet, a man with the noblest soul, defender of the poor and the oppressed, came with miracles (curing the ill, the blind, raising the dead..etc)
-"And Mary we shall grant you a son , blessed be his name and peace be upon him the day when he is born, peace be upon him the day he dies..and peace be upon him the day he comes back alive" Quran verse about Jesus
_Jesus will return at the end of time, unite all the faith full(who will be a few) and fight the anti Christ, and bring peace once more to the world.
About Mary
-The purest woman in history, the chosen woman, the woman God have chosen to purify.
-The one who miraculously gave birth to prophet jeasus
-A worshiper and a very keen and honests ervent of God.
A muslim's faith won't be complete and he would never be accepted in heaven unless he belives in jesus christ as a messenger of god and belives in his message of peace and love and care for others and believe in his miraculous birth and belive that Virgin mary is the purest woman on earth.
Amazing isnt it? If you don`t belive it check the Quran, it's online
P.S. why when muslims translate the Quran they use the word "Allah" instead of God? doesn't Allah mean God in arabic? If you are translating your text, why translate a part and leave certain woirds in arabic? it is as if you are talking about a different God, while you simply mean God, the same God.
The Christian belief about Jesus is that he is the only-begotten Son of God or God Himself, who died on the cross to save humans from Original Sin. Muslims hold that there is no such thing as Original Sin. So God had no reason to become a human and die on the cross. Even if there were something called Original Sin, Muslims do not see how God could be so helpless as to atone for that sin by dying on the cross. The Christians would answer:
?For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believer on him should not perish, but have everlasting life? (John 3:16).
Did God really love the world so much? so much that He decided to sacrifice even His son, His only begotten son, to save the world from Original Sin? Christians would say, Yes.
On the other hand, Muslims would insist in the first place, that God is One and One Only, and, therefore, He did?t have a son. Second, as God is Just, He would not punish the innocent to save the sinners. Third, the so-called Original Sin cannot be such a problem for the Almighty God that He is compelled to sacrifice ?His own Son.? He could very well cancel that sin or He could simply demand an atonement from the sinful or at least ask for sincere repentance from them. Indeed, there was no need for God to subject His Son to the terrible torture he is said to have undergone, as portrayed in Mel Gibson?s The Passion of the Christ, for instance.
In fact, there were early Christians who did not believe in the crucifixion of Jesus. For instance, the Basilidians believed that someone else was crucified in his place. The names of Simon of Cyrene and even Judas Iscariot are heard in this context.
As for the Qur?an, it speaks of how Allah cleared Jesus of the disbelief of his people. It says what means:
*{[And remember] when Allah said: O Jesus! I will take you and raise you to Myself, and cleanse you of those who disbelieve; and I will make those who follow [you] superior to those who disbelieve until the Day of Resurrection. Then to me you will [all] return, and I will judge between you as to that wherein you used to differ. And as for those who disbelieve I will punish them with severe torment in this world and the Hereafter; and they will have no helpers.}* (Aal `Imran 3:55-56)
Thus, Allah raised Jesus up to Heaven, and so he was saved from an accursed death on the cross, in contrast to what his enemies and even his self-styled ?followers? alleged. It was the plan of the enemies of Jesus to crucify him, but Allah foiled their plan. So to believe in his death by crucifixion means to believe that those unbelievers were successful against God?s plan. But assuredly they could not crucify Jesus the Messenger of Allah. The Qur?an says what means:
*{And their saying [is] ?we slew the Messiah, Jesus Son of Mary, Allah?s messenger? ? They slew him not nor crucified him, but it appeared so to them. And those who disagree concerning it are in doubt thereof; they have no knowledge thereof save pursuit of a conjecture. For of a surety they slew him not; but Allah took him up to Himself. Allah is Almighty [and] All-Wise. And there is none of the people of the Book [the Jews and Christians] but will believe in him before his death, and on the Day of Resurrection he will be a witness against them.}* (An-Nisaa? 4:157-159)
We Muslims believe in all the prophets of God and honor and respect them alike; we do not make any distinction between one and another of them. Muslims believe Jesus Christ to be one of the great prophets of God and hold that all prophets are brothers and that their religion is the same, namely, Islam (or unconditional submission to Allah). Allah says in the Qur?an what means:
*{He [Allah] has ordained for you the same religion as that which He ordained to Noah, and that which We inspired in you [Muhammad], and that which We ordained to Abraham and Moses and Jesus, saying: Establish the religion, and make no divisions therein. To those who worship other things than Allah, dreadful is that to which you call them. Allah chooses for Himself whom He will, and guides to Himself him who turns [in repentance to Him].}* (Az-Zukhruf 42:13)
