ISLAM is the word that appears first in my mind when I hear the word ISLAM....

but it more resembles the word SALAMI, because I'm somewhat dyslexic...

so yeah

Apprehension and discomfort. While overseas an Islam city was the only place I visited and felt uncomfortable. unwanted and in the midst of hostility and this was in 1958.

I dint blame other people who say fear, because Islam has been hijacked by some terrorists and is being misused. And that's why people are afraid. But if you get to know Islam from credible resources, you wouldn't be afraid.

I agree with Zuni_noon and Bu Sami. Islam is Misunderstood. People fear what they don't understand. Especially Americans.
