For the same reason Judaism sprang Christianity and Islam.

Since you are so hellbent and prejudiced to Hinduism you fail to understand that all religions have evolved from different religions.

Hinduism basically says that you should be moral & good etc. and if you are such you can have hold any belief that you want. for example, i believe in god as a man-made concept, but i am still Hindu.

so, Hinduism "allowed" diff. religions to spring up b/c it is not against the existence of other religions - it leaves that up to people rather than forcing beliefs upon people

It does not compromise, truth for any thing, because it believes that god is truth and truth is god.
