If Islam is the most peaceful religion, what about Buddhism, Jainism, Taoism, etc.?
Even if you deny Taoism and Buddhism, etc. You most definitely cannot deny Jainism! They do almost anything to make sure they do not kill a single thing, or even hurt a single thing. I once knew a Jain and she nearly killed herself twice and gotten into the hospital once to save just little things such as plants.
You are kidding me right?!
Oh well, look at the many other religions, especially Buddhism. Taoism is more peaceful than Islam.
Islam certainly isn't the most peaceful religion, have you not seen 9/11?? Islam teaches people to take over the world and have everybody Islam, i personally dint think that's right but anyways.,.
I don't believe in extremism. If you are extremely peaceful it's still extremism and can be indirectly destructive in large doses. Case in point, your friend almost died twice to protect a plant. What is she really contributing by being so careless, destructive, and OCD?
I certainly wouldn't want a whole country of people like that.
Go Back in History you'll learn which religion is peaceful.. And Taoism.. -----ism.. etc.. Doesn't mean they are right true religions..
True religion is the right one.. and you need Proofs.. Tomorrow.. Media will give hype to the Crimes of these ISMS you are talking about.. Will you say that these are not peaceful because of few criminals ..
Buddhism is the middle path, avoiding the two extremes.
Now on a full moon day of July, 589 years before Christ, in the evening, at the moment the sun was setting and the full moon simultaneously rising, in the shady Deer Park at Isipatana, the Buddha addressed them:
"Monks, these two extremes ought not to be cultivated by the recluse. What two? Sensual indulgence which is low, vulgar, worldly, ignoble, and conducive to harm; and self-mortification, which is painful, ignoble, and conducive to harm. The middle path, monks, understood by the Tath?gata, avoiding the extremes, gives vision and knowledge and leads to calm, realization, enlightenment, and Nibb?na. And what, monks, is that middle path? It is this Noble Eightfold Path, namely: right understanding, right thought, right speech, right action, right livelihood, right effort, right mindfulness, right concentration."
Jainism believes in a god, and pact ices self-mortification as a means to eradicate sins.
well no one is saying that it is the most peaceful religion, because neither are all the other major religions, some religions focus on peace and only on peace and nothing else, and your story seems a little untrue there, and also Islam means peace, so your kinda contradicting yourself there, i mean what you have to understand is that just because the media is trying to brainwash people like you into thinking that Islam is a religion of terrorists doesn't mean that you have to follow the medias command like a little dog, have a open mind and dint believe everything you here on TV okay buddy
