Budhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Jainism, Judaism, Islam, Zorastrianism....can they a
If you say your religion is right is that not an arrogant position against all others, and by what authority can you make that statement?
Christians are by far the most arrogant humans alive closely followed by Muslims.....don't believe me....read the answers below!
You need to do more research. Buddhists are one of the few groups who don't say "we're right and you're wrong". Nor do Taoists...Not sure about other groups.
I honestly don't know. I'm a Buddhist, and I tend to think that other religions aren't necessarily wrong. I think the doctrines lead to wrong view, which fosters ignorance and suffering, which keeps a person on the round of rebirth longer. Following another religion doesn't condemn a person to eternal suffering and torture, and, I think, is at least what makes Buddhism a superior practice.
I don't find this to be an arrogant position to take at all--it in fact puts me face to face with my own faults and virtues, and gives me a means of addressing them and bettering myself visibly and quantifiable. I have never encountered this in any other religion, and I have searched for a while.
You always get the chance to deal your mistakes constructively and move on. In the end, I think the correct religion is the one that meets a believers needs. Buddhism meets mine.
Christianity is the only religion that has a living God.
All the other gods in all the other religions are dead.
So they cannot be right. Only mine is the true God.
And He has no religion. He says to believe on Him and
be saved from eternal torment. He says to Love God and love
your neighbor.
That is it.
Everything else is made up by man to try to please God in man`s own way instead of pleasing God the way God wants us to.
There is only one true God. And many false gods. Now after you find out who is the right God, and who He is, compare Him to all these religions, and if they match, they be the right one.
I was the most arrogant kid in my first grade class. I kept insisting 5+5 was 10 when my friends said it was 8 and 11. They told me that I wasn't very open minded and agreed to compromise at 9.
Islam, Christianity, Judaism, are all right because their called people of the book god wanted to update peoples info so first he made Judaism then to update it he made Christianity then to update Christianity he made Islam and now Islam is the right religion you get me?
I think it's likely that all religions are ways of approaching a fundamentally unknowable God, and that my religion is only right for me and others who are called to it. I'd never presume to say that it's right for anybody else.
Atheism - there is no observable evidence to support the veracity of any of these religions. Arguing for them is simply a matter of emotional bias, not based on anything concrete. Therefore, we reject the notion that these religions are correct. If you would like us to re-test, please provide a standard, consistent definition of your god, not one that is mutable to fit the circumstances. Thank you.
Yes, they can. There are many belief systems, but only one God, many paths, but only one destination. I am a Christian, this is what I believe my religion supports...though I know other Christians do not. The bottom line is...according to a PEW survey, of the 90 percent of people who believe in a higher power, a full 70 percent believe as I do.
First of all Christianity is not a religion. If I say I believe that Christianity is right, the right way to go, God's way. I would be a liar and a hypocrite to then say that those religions are right also.
No those religions are not right, they are of the devil as a means to deceive millions of people and led them astray, away from Jesus...
I'm sorry but if you believe in all religions or say you're all religions you really don't believe in anything and are just after peoples approval, think of it they are all different. I say only the God who made you the heavenly creator God is the right way to go if you are to go anywhere. everywhere else will only lead you on a wild goose chase.
No they all contradict each other. Christians say all people that don't follow Christ will (well let's just say go to a bad place when they die) and Musilms believe that all people who don't follow Islamic religion will go to a bad place when they die. Christians believe that there is only ONE true god. Buddhism and other pagan religions believe that there are numerous gods. Judaism believes that Jesus Christ wasn't the Messiah. Christianity says he was. Clearly they can't all be correct religions.
Negative,it is written no one goes to the FATHER except Thur JESUS.Beware not to be fooled.Since GOD gave us the breath of life in order to live. Our souls hunger for that supernatural unity with our maker.Problem is we are not forced to serve HIM,so hence freedom of religion. If this really matters to you take heed to fulfill this hunger by committing to CHRIST,believe me if your heart is in the right place and your serious..HE will share HIS presence with you.
Truth by definition is mutually exclusive. There can be only one truth, but there can be millions of lies. If you know the truth, and you really have the correct truth, wouldn't you want to share it with others so that they would know the truth too. Jesus taught us saying "You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free." And He also taught us, "I am the way the truth and the life, no man comet unto the Father but by me." I know that I have this truth, as surely as I know anything. I would pray for you to have the same assurance and conviction that I have found. So it is by the authority of God's own Word to man - the Bible, and in it the words of God's own Son, Jesus, that I claim the authority to speak the truth in love. God bless you, friend.
