Default I am thinking to convert to the Jainism religion?

I read about the religion today and have some questions. Where can I find Jain people on line? I live in UK, London and do not know of any Jain community/places of worship where I can go for a talk. Does anyone know of any chat rooms? Thanks

It is a very peaceful religion. Good luck on your journey.

Seriously? Buddah was a Jain for awhile. It was too severe for him. Maybe the religion has changed but it used to be they practiced asceticism.

Dear,
There are Jain temples and other activities centers all around UK. There is a Jain chair in Cambridge university. You may contact Prof. James Laidlaw in Kings college.
You can also contact Prof. Josephine Reynell in Oxford.
You should join some other Jain groups e.g. Jain friends, jingliest, Jain_students etc.
You can feel free to contact me personally for any relevant info about Jainism.
Thanks,
Jyoti Kothari
