If you avoid the God aspect then that religion becomes a humanistic persuasion.

Yes, it does deny the existence of a creator god but Jains cannot avoid the concept of god. Our concept of god really differs.

Jains have the same type of concept as Buddhists; God is a higher consciousness, and not a personified entity. In either religion, God is not a focus; living life a certain way is the goal. God is non-interfering. Jains are a bit unusual in there duality of extreme non-violence coupled with their extreme asceticism. I don't understand how the two concepts coexist within a belief system, they seem to counter each other.

Jainism believes that universe and all its substances or entities are eternal. It has no beginning or end with respect to time. There is no need of some one to create or manage the affairs of the universe. Universe in run own its own accord by its own cosmic laws. Hence Jainism does not believe in God as a creator, survivor, and destroyer of universe.

However Jainism does believe in God. When a living being destroys all his karma's, he possesses perfect knowledge, vision, power, and bliss. He becomes omniscient and omnipotent. This living being is a God of Jain religion. Hence Jains do not believe in one God. Gods in Jain religion are innumerable and the number is continuously increasing as more living beings attain liberation. Every living being has a potential to become God of the Jain religion.

I am not a follower on the teachings of the 24 Tirthankar of the Jain people. Many of India's Religious terms and titles sound like science fiction to and I end getting put off by them when reading about them. The 24 Tirthankar do sound like interesting characters though.

Any religion that denies the existence of God is better than religions promoting multiple Gods and Goddess and God men and women with an endless list.

It helps nothing but to defogs the minds of people into multiple Gods and the confusion about which God is superior. At the time of disaster or worry people will not get a single God to pray upon. Ultimately unfocused minds will be less productive.

That is what we see in India.

all religions start in the name of god.
all religions start to end all previous religions but themselves end up as religions.

We know that God is not a person . God is not having any connection with a substance or element, so we can address god neither as "he", "she" or "it" or anything else. God is described as ever new Joy by Swami Yukteswar Giri, and some describe God as Pure consciousness.

Actually Jains are trying to reach that state which is cessation from all sufferings, that state where there is immortality or Nirvana, and that state itself is God.
