The Jainism, The Digamabras Culture.(Nudity) in Open Society.?

Dear all Jain Gurus, if I say that I feel bad, humiliated and embarrassed than what do you think, what kind of human being that I am?

Am I unsocial, unethical, uncultured, having an irresponsible family background or at the most I am mentally disturbed.

You are a normal human being. It is natural to feel bad, humiliated and embarrassed due to the appropriate circumstances. Only a dead stone will not react.

A conscious being will react according to the circumstances. Therefore, if on the contrary one defies the natural laws and wants to be nude, disregarding the social, ethical, cultured beings, then he can be called mentally disturbed for his being naked in the public.

Actually to be naked even in privacy is not cultured, since there are higher subtle beings who are watching. Therefore, it goes without saying that to be naked in open society is the highest form of mental disturbance.

You are absolutely fine. Just that the ones walking nude need to evolve as per the times.

The spirit behind Jainism is The Most Natural one.

a human being is born nude. He comes out of his mothers womb naked. this is valid for all people of all religion .

but after coming out, we feel ashamed of natural fact and try to wear some thing. This is Maya.( illusion out of ignorance).


However, Jainism spirit especially DagmarARs truely natural and of natural.

U r ashamed becoz u think u are social. But can U dare to walk nude on roads to give a message that hey man U are born nude and will die nude.

So dont see nudity as a sin. u must see this as a natural fact.

you can come across a lot of DagmarAriins in a place called dharmashtala in karnataka------------they keep moving about there ---------near the banks of netravati river and elsewere -------in the dharmasthala shetra

their skin had different colour------- a bit of magenta ,reddish type --------may be ---its due to the constant exposure to the sun and the elements

I heard that the Digamabras is to exhibit truly to the world that they transcend all the worldly material & bodily pleasure. Their mental attitude is not affected by external influences which can be verified by anyone is the concept behind such Nudity.
