Assuming the "...." means your asking about all religions....
Judaism would call it murder & horrible.
A basic concept of Judaism is a court of law, be it Jewish or the country's you live in. Any capital punishment would be doled out after a very fair trial for a limited specific actions that warrant it, such as murder or rape. 2000 years ago during the Sanhedrin days, the requirements for witnessing of a crime were so high it was almost never (if ever) done. The current country of Israel run by secular (non-Jewish specific) law has put to death only one person, the infamous Nazi Eichmann (who killed so many Jews horribly without regret - & for which they were many witnesses.)
Honor is not considered a focus in Judaism. Morality is. If someone violates morality standards, individual responsibility is key in Judaism. Only you are responsible for your actions. So a family members actions doesn't reduce your honor (in any formal way). So killing them would just compound the wrongs committed.
Instead Judaism would reach out to the family to help them integrate back into society & figure out what went wrong & how to help. The society would get introspective & try to figure out collectively what they could do better in the future. You can see this all the time as the reaction to everything done by someone Jewish, that isn't okay. Next thing you know, collectively we are talking about if we let someone get too isolated, or didn't emphasize some peaceful teaching enough...
Add: Even culturally, without Judaism's approval, I have never heard of this ever within Jewish communities...going way back.
