Jainism and Hinduism are god-religions, not Buddhism, it is in it's own category.

Buddhism suggests:
the Noble Eight-Fold Path

The Fundamentals of Meditation Practice
http://www.buddhanet.net/pdf_file/chanmed1.pdf

In the Kalama Sutra, Buddha says.
Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it..
Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumored by many.
Do not believe in anything simply because it is found written in your religious books.
Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders.
Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down for many generations.

But after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it.

Buddhism and Jainism both teach that all beings are, for all intents and purposes, equal.

Hinduism does not (hence the caste system).

I think it's talking about the caste system. I don't think either of those religions recognize castes; they treat everyone as equals.

Well, break the question down. First, what are the social injustices inherent in Hinduism? That is, what is unjust socially about Hinduism? I don't know, maybe the caste system?

And then, what do Buddhism and Jainism have in common, that would straighten out whatever is unjust about Hinduism? Maybe they have no caste system? Again, I'm only guessing, I don't know. Here is a website that may help you research what the problem with Hinduism is and how Buddhism and Jainism can fix it: All I did was go ogle Buddhism Hinduism and Jainism -- type those three words in...
