Default say that some religion has it spot on,one of the obsure ones like jainism...........?

and say there's 5 million of them
is god not just being lazy
even if catholics are right ...a billion say
that leave 6 billion who are doomed
if he does love us all he should be ashamed of himself for his utter incompetence

That would be perfectly cool with the Jain, because they'll tell you whatever path works for you, just keep following it if it's good.

The binary damnation/salvation equation is far from being common to all faiths on Earth. A lot of belief systems would find this problem strange and more than a bit presumptuous.

Yeah, let's blame God for the pride of stiff-necked people!

If it was "spot on" it would not be obscure.

Truth is never obscure.

This is why Jesus said at Matthew 7:13-14, "?Go in through the narrow gate; because broad and spacious is the road leading off into destruction, and many are the ones going in through it; 14?whereas narrow is the gate and cramped the road leading off into life, and few are the ones finding it." Most of earth's population will refuse to obey God, so will die. They love this wicked world more than God. They make their choice and must take what follows.

God is neither lazy nor incompetent. This is why Jesus told his true followers to: "Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, 20?teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded YOU. And, look! I am with YOU all the days until the conclusion of the system of things.?
"And this good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come." -----Matthew 28:19-20; 24:14.

God has arranged for all the world to be notified and for all those who wish to learn, to be taught the truths of God. He has done this for each time God has destroyed something. That is, provided a way to safety for those who worship him.

Actually, no "Religion" has it spot on.

However, the Oriental Philosophies were very close to the Truth and they all said that no man can ever attain the Truth when still trapped in the corporeal form for the simple reason that the Absolute is the very antithesis of the Relative and Temporal.

The Jain Philosophy is quite fascinating, by the way, if you haven't studied it; because it doesn't have God !

It has the 24 Thirthankaras or the Sublime Enlightened Ones who were their Guides. The Arihantas or the Perfect Humans and the ones who were Siddha or the Liberated Souls. You can read all about them in the links given below.

The Sanathana Dharma, that most people know as Hinduism, which was the Eternal and Universal Path, was the one that propounded the Universal Consciousness and that all of us are part of that, including the animals etc and even the inanimate objects.

The Concept of the Atma and the Paramatma is really a fascinating one to study. However, the mathematics is quite advanced there and you need to be capable of 16 decimal point accuracy if you are to even start with the Science involved there.

That was, perhaps, why the Sanathana Dharma remained the realm of the scholars and the others turned to the superstition and ritual that we now know as Hinduism.

Anyway, it's a pity that the limitations of space here preclude the possibility of even attempting an introduction to the Science of the Sanathana Dharma because it's really very involved and very accurate Science. 16 decimal point accurate, remember?

All the best.

Cheers!
