Buddhism & Jainism? How would you compare these two religions? Which is better suited for modern times?

neither..they are just as much full of crap as mainstream religions.

Buddhism is not the same from country to country and sometimes even within one country. Many Buddhists would say that Buddhism is a philosophy, and not a religion. Some forms of Buddhism do not recognize any deity or deities. Some do. In China there is a melding of Taoism and Buddhism in many areas. In my opinion Jainism is a religion, and very restricted in its scope. Buddhism is more suited to the open-minded. Again, that is my own opinion.

Religion is for all times, not for modern times.
