Default Are Osho's teachings based on teachings of Jainism? How different are his teachings f

What I would like to know is how close are Osho's teachings philosophically to those of Jain teachings.
Dear Mann, you seem to contradict. I'm not sure if you are conversant with Jainism, but to say that it is not scientific or spiritual is wrong. I'll ask again, how close are Osho's teachings _philosophically_ to those of Jain teachings? And if different, where do they differ?

Osho's is more about spirituality than any particular religion. Jainism is a pure and strict religion, while Osho is a mixture of science, spirituality and a lot of different schools of thought. Both are different and divergent.

Osho was Hindu by birth and culture, but wrote books on just about every conceivable religion (though not Jainism, so far as I am aware).

I suspect the Jains have inspired or influenced a lot of people in it's history.

No. Though he was born in a Jain family.
He knew the truth and told everyone and showed the path to all.
He tried to explain the truth which was mentioned in all religions.
He found many great saints in all religions and explained it in his own way.
He found truth in Jainism also.
But he talked more about Buddha than Mahavira.
