CHRISTIANITY?! SHOULDN'T OUR FOUNDING FATHERS BEEN JAINISTS INSTEAD OF BEING 'CHRISTIANS'?!
the good thing about Jainism is that its atheistic and doesn't bow down to authority or should we keep the US SECULAR LIKE IT WAS FOUNDED, HAS BEEN AND WILL BE?!
chuck g - it wasn't founded on Christianity, definitely

Well you can say it, but we have this little thing called freedom of religion.

Actually if you study history our founding fathers were deists. They did not want the establishment of any religion. We need to get back to founding principals. America does not have a religion. If we had a national religion then that would be a violation of the Constitution under the amendment that states congress shall make no laws establishing a national religion.

First off, you're primary premise is flawed; "Since I'm done studying other world religions" Right there you're wrong, you can NEVER be done studying, that's like saying "Well I learned everything about physics, that's it!" There is ALWAYS something new to learn and anyone who thinks they're "done" learning has ALOT of learning left to do. That being said, the founding fathers DID believe in a higher power, but they saw that a nation that adopts a "religion" is doomed to fail, so they knew that mandating a religion for the country would only cause problems. But even Free Masons believe in a "Creator of All"

You cannot force people to change their beliefs. If people choose to be christian or atheist or anything else, that is for them to decide.

For the rest of your rant and responses to others, you are wrong on all points.
