Default Ask around to see how many people you know that know about the religion jainism?

I am a Jain. To help you find people who might be Jain, here are some facts about Janis. this religion was founded in 3000 B.C and it is just like Buddhism but a little stricter. The main rule every Jain has to follow is be non-violent. To respect all people and creatures alike. Also all Janis are vegetarians. Because we feel that harming any animal is a terrible action which is also considered a sin in Jainism. Jainism started in India like Buddhism and was started by people who didn't believe in the caste system of hinduism. So they became jains. Jainism is still alive and strong today and will be for a long time. With no violence allowed we are to tolerate all other religions of the world but still keep faith in jain gods. jain gods were humans who got enlightend there are 24 all of whom are dead. Jainism also believes in heaven and hell. Thats as much as people will understand. So happy hunting jains!

You can't harvest vegetables without killing insects so that is one aspect of Jainism that I don't find credible.

i know its in India, i think mostly in central west areas, Jains are very well off financially for the most part, and their numbers are quite low.

Thank you for informing us. I wonder does Jainism includes the concept of Karma and reincarnation like Buddhism?
