If you follow Jainism,?

If you follow Jainism, strictly of course, you would be vegetarian. Do you wear animal hides, leather clothes...etc? If you do, isn't that killing the animal anyway?

I've read that the most hardcore Janis go their lives naked but wear a cloth around their mouth to make sure they don't accidental inhale and kill an insect.
Granted their numbers are very small and confined to small sections of India.
But to answer your question I don't think a Jain would have anything to do with leather products.

Live and let live or in other words Ahimsa par mo harm that is non violence is best religion....are the basic tenet of Jain philosophy. following Jainism in strict sense is though very difficult because it deals even for protection of micro organisms. No, I don't wear animal hides ,Leather shoes, belts, purses...........Anyway if someone supports brutality he or she is not following Jainism in any manner.....merely putting as surname is useless.
