Buddhism praises the murderer Asoka, Jains kill themselves to protect microbes, and Hindus think an unthinking cow is better than a thinking human, especially, if the person is lowly born! I will not talk about Shinto because people already know the murders Japan committed in the religion.

Since when does the life of a cow take precedence over the life of a human? Caste is made out to be a big issue, but it's not really. There's more cases of racial bias and prejudice than there are caste related issues. Ethics is based on suffering, and it would be okay to kill people who are suffering.
Asoka embraced Buddhism after all his conquests, he was a great and peaceful missionary. Just because people don't have a "god" to fear, doesn't mean they don't have fears of other things.
