Default Jewish eat Chicken & say it is not carnivous , however from raisng chickens I have se

and pick at the other chickens until they have an opening and will pull the insides out of the chicken to eat it until the chicken dies. How is this considered a kosher clean food to eat? It states it in the website I read that it is kosher.
I read on this website http://mazornet.com/jewishcl/koshe/

huh? Jews eat all meat!!!!!
meat is kosher depending on whether or not the animal possesses certain qualities, and depending on how the animal is slaughtered!!! (BTW, the Jewish slaughtering method is known to be the fastest and least painful!!)

first off I am not aware of cannibalism being a problem for birds to be kosher.

Chickens are considered kosher because there is a long standing tradition that they are.

regardless of what they eat

I was raised Jewish, but to be honest I'm not quite sure. Here I've enclosed a link for you to browse, hopefully you'll find what you're looking for.

What is Kosher is decided by laws interpreted in the Torah and how the animal (or bird) is killed. It's not based on carnivorous or not carnivorous, though pork is never kosher as it was deemed unclean in the bible (this is actually also true in Christianity and Islam). Fish is not considered a meat, and therefore is neutral.

Chickens and hogs turn to cannibalism when they are not provided with enough proteins and other minerals. Chickens also will peck at any bird that looks strange to them,or has a slight mark on them somewhere-dumb birds.

Were these chickens on a chicken farm in cages, or free roaming with no restrictions and no stress? It is well known that any animal under heavy stress will do strange things, turning cannibalistic is a common occurrence. This is why chicken farmers who keep them 5 in a cage will sheer off a chick's beak to keep it from pecking other chickens as it gets older. Yet chickens in their natural habitat with room to breathe and move and flap their wings don't follow this behavior.
