are you studying Hebrew? Or Aramaic? Or Greek?

The Torah and the Gospel were both written for man. Man rarely communicates in "perfect" language.

Look at the people in the US. Most of us have a large part of our vocabulary that is slang. To have somebody speak perfect English to us would confuse most of us.

Try reading Shakespeare or the King James version of the bible if you would like an example of what I am saying.

So..... my own personal opinion - sure - maybe. We are messy messengers delivering the perfect message.

I'd agree with John J...the translations of the original texts of the Bible may have some grammatical errors but they are minor.

Even so, we are to be extremely careful in observing the original intent and meanings of even the smallest detail. People have changed the wording in Genesis from "the first day' to "a first day" or "a day" and it can alter the meaning completely. The Bible has very specific warnings not to change it by a "jot or tittle" which is to mean even punctuation.
