There are many similarities between the God of Moses and the God of the Early Church.
Look at the Psalms to see the love and mercy that is very prevalent throughout the New Testament.
Look an Ananias and Sapphira to see the judgment that people often point to in the Old Testament.
Jesus often quoted passages from the Torah, even icons like the Ten Commandments, showing the similarities between the two.
But the biggest evidence to me is that the foundational figure of Christianity (Jesus) was a devout Jew, who visited the Temple and synagogues and spoke with great authority to the scribes about the texts regarding God.
