A fill in for history class asks what the only God of The Jewish is. I do believe it is Yahweh, but I can not afford to get anything wrong on this worksheet, so is this correct?
That all depends on the time frame referenced. The original Israelites were polytheists. For example, they not only worshiped Yahweh, but also worshiped his wife Asherah and Ba?AL.
