Jesus was born a Jew, but when he got older, he started to teach the ways of the christian faith. Because the ways of the Jewish people were based on laws created a long time ago, the had no relevance to the society of Jesus's day. So yes Jesus was a Jew but after a while he started the faith of Christianity. But Father Elohim got mad at him because Jesus was supposed to be the savior of the Mormans, back when the evil emperor of Italy enslaved them for their beliefs on gravity and space. So because Jesus ignored his Fiat as the savior of the Mormans, being a Mormon in Jessi's time was very hard.
Jesus was definitely Jewish. Many of his opinions either agree or disagree on topics that concerned Jews at the time. What happened later was that followers who shaped Christianity eventually left traditional Jewish practice and theology, especially since later Christian converts were mostly non-Jews. Some of Jewish forms were kept, but in different ways--i.e. Easter instead of Passover, and keeping the Bible in addition to the New Testament.
LOL.... There was no Christian religion at the time Jesus was supposed to be alive and walking the Earth. Mind you, there may not have been a Jesus either. If he was alive and living in the area that he is said to have lived in, there is probably an 80% chance he would have been Jewish. The other options are Roman, which seems quite unlikely or Greek.
Jesus was philosophical and not religious so he was not a Jew.
He asked not to follow something blindly e.g Shabat (He worked on a Sabbath day).
But all his real teachings were destroyed in latter days and only some of the teachings are written in a book and people were made to worship him by some cruel people.
[Nothing more than this can be posted here, I am sorry]
Yes, Jesus was born into the Jewish nation that was once chosen by God who had the special privilege to rule with Christ in heaven. This promise was made to Abraham after demonstrating his great faith in God in Genesis 22:16 where God said:
??By myself I do swear,? is the utterance of Jehovah, ?that by reason of the fact that you have done this thing and you have not withheld your son, your only one, 17?I shall surely bless you and I shall surely multiply your seed like the stars of the heavens and like the grains of sand that are on the seashore; and your seed will take possession of the gate of his enemies. 18?And by means of your seed all nations of the earth will certainly bless themselves due to the fact that you have listened to my voice.??
Unfortunately, the Jewish nation lost out on the privilege of making up all of the kings and priests in heaven as outlined in Revelation 5:9,10
"Persons for God out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, and you made them to be a kingdom and priests to our God, and they are to rule as kings over the earth.?
However, some natural Jews have remained faithful and became followers of Christ as this reference shows:
"The prophet Hosea foretold that God, in rejecting the nation of natural Israel in favor of this spiritual nation, which includes Gentiles, would say ?to those not my people: ?You are my people.?? (Ho 2:23; Ro 9:22-25) In due time the Kingdom of God was taken away from the nation of natural Jews and given to a spiritual nation bringing forth Kingdom fruit age. (Mt 21:43) To be sure, natural Jews were included in spiritual Israel."
If you're asking "Was it ALLEGED that Jesus was Jewish or not?" then I'll say 'yes', that's why there allegedly was a sign over his head, allegedly saying 'King of the Jews'.
If you're asking me if Jesus WAS Jewish then I'll say 'no'. See, I see no difference in what your supposed Jesus said thousands of years ago, and what so many that claimed to be the son of god (the ones you chose not to believe in) said. You see...the others were probably stuffed into a padded room and put on medication for some mental disorder...but for some reason you feel that this guy that lived thousands of years ago, whom you've only read about in a book, was 100% sane.
