Default Could I have some Jewish blood in me?

I have always felt a connection to Judaism although I was raised a Catholic. My mum is French and my dad is Spanish so I already have that sort of 'Jewish' look. I live in Scotland but it always seem quite strange why I am so fascinated with Judaism as there's not many Jews i Scotland. Any reasons why i feel this way? I'll take all answers with a pinch of salt though but i plan on doing some ancestry checks!

When you have two demographic groups living in the same country, cross-mingling of the bloodlines is inevitable. Many Europeans actually have quite close Jewish ancestry.
So you may very well have Jewish ancestry.

**
According to Jewish mysticism, every Jew that has ever and will ever live was present at Sinai at the reading of the law; either bodily or in spirit form.
When the soul of a Jew is reincarnated to gentile parents, his soul longs for the covenant, the connection; longs to be joined to his people.

However, that is Kabbalah, not part of actual Halakha; but there are many Jews (including rabbis) who are open to the idea of reincarnation; and the longing of a Jewish soul to be Jewish.

**
However, simply because you have a Jewish soul doesn't mean you would have to convert; but you might become one of the been Noach (righteous gentile) to be close to the Jewish people without committing to conversion.
(You may find the call of the Torah to be too powerful to resist; but that is a matter of your own personal spirituality; and only you could decide that)

**
I drew on Kabbalah to answer your question, but mysticism isn't a good place to start an introduction to what Judaism is and what it believes; as Judaism centers on the Halakha (law).

You may already be aware of this site, but it gives a good introduction to Judaism in an easy-to-understand way:

Here's a good forum for questions asked of rabbis:

A racially pure Jew is a misnomer, Jews have migrated and mixed for centuries.

Yes, it is certainly possible.

Jewishness is not a "look" as there are Jewish persons of every size shape and skin hue. While you may have Jewish heritage, you are not Jewish

if you keep these 7 laws you will have an equal share in the world to come.

* To behave justly in all relationships, and to establish courts of justice.
* To refrain from blaspheming Gods name.
* To refrain from practicing idolatry.
* To avoid immoral practices, specifically incest and adultery.
* To avoid shedding the blood of ones fellow man.
* To refrain from robbing ones fellow man.
* To refrain from eating a limb torn from a live animal.

Ancestry checks may or may not give you answers to events that took place 500 or more years ago. If you are drawn to Judaism, then check it out. There are synagogues in Edinburgh and Glasgow. The nearest major community is in Manchester.
