When you have two demographic groups living in the same country, cross-mingling of the bloodlines is inevitable. Many Europeans actually have quite close Jewish ancestry.
So you may very well have Jewish ancestry.

According to Jewish mysticism, every Jew that has ever and will ever live was present at Sinai at the reading of the law; either bodily or in spirit form.
When the soul of a Jew is reincarnated to gentile parents, his soul longs for the covenant, the connection; longs to be joined to his people.
However, that is Kabbalah, not part of actual Halakha; but there are many Jews (including rabbis) who are open to the idea of reincarnation; and the longing of a Jewish soul to be Jewish.

However, simply because you have a Jewish soul doesn't mean you would have to convert; but you might become one of the been Noach (righteous gentile) to be close to the Jewish people without committing to conversion.
(You may find the call of the Torah to be too powerful to resist; but that is a matter of your own personal spirituality; and only you could decide that)

I drew on Kabbalah to answer your question, but mysticism isn't a good place to start an introduction to what Judaism is and what it believes; as Judaism centers on the Halakha (law).
You may already be aware of this site, but it gives a good introduction to Judaism in an easy-to-understand way:

Here's a good forum for questions asked of rabbis:
